賈碧思別墅公寓(Garbis Villas & Apartments)

Structure à gestion familiale fort sympathique. L’emplacement est exceptionnel avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. Le mobilier et les sanitaires sont récents, la literie est confortable et tout est impeccablement propre. La piscine est grande et les transats tables et fauteuils en terrasse sont très esthétiques. La personne qui entretient est tres avenante et serviable. La charmante propriétaire vit sur place. Nous avons seulement regretté de ne pas rester plus longtemps !

We had an excellent experience at Garbis Villas in 2014 and 2021. We were really in love with the place, its history and with Irene, the owner. Still, in 2023 our experience left place for improvement. We booked an apartment 7 months in advance and explicitely asked to be in the first villa. We were told first villa is already booked and we will be offered an apartment in the second villa, which was still fine. When we arrrived, we were given an apartment in the fourth villa. This villa is not refurbished and it does not have good view, just a view to the opposite construction and to the fence. When we addressed the issue to Angela (the daughter of the owner), we received no clear explaination nor appologies or compensation. Also some refurbishments should be considered: sewage work to eliminate the bad smell plus moskito nets. We think that Angela should involve more in the family business and make sure that customers (moreover returning ones) are satisfied.

3rd visit. This place does not disappoint. The best views on the island. Top apartment for the family and the maid went over and above to accommodate all the different guests. Wonderful lady. We can’t wait to be back next year. Thanks again Irene for your hospitality.

Second time staying here - an absolute gem in Lourdata with stunning views and peaceful surroundings. Family run place who make you feel very welcome and ensure you have everything you need - kitchenette, patio, plenty of space and all centered around a lovely pool. Irene really looked after us, the housekeeping was perfect and the whole check in/check out was completely painless. Great places to eat nearby and there are plenty of beaches close by - highly recommend

A wonderful place that has stunning views, very peaceful and a place to relax and unwind. We had an apartment lookin out onto the pool and the sea with Zakynthos on the horizon. The backdrop was a mountain range. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Our host Irene was so friendly and helpful. A delightful place that will callus back

Be warned before you book. The photos show breakfast and the website says that there is a bar with snacks and drinks. There is nothing and you are in trouble if you do not have a car! I was told that they do not pay for staff and the website is wrong in terms of snacks and coffee. We were stranded with a child with nothing to eat or drink when we arrived. Other people were looking for breakfast in the morning, we even had to give someone a coffee as she was a lone traveller with no transport. When I questioned it I was told that the websites were wrong (even their own) and they were clearly angry that I questioned it. When I tried to contact one of the owners on the first day they kept putting the phone down on me. In the middle of a heatwave we were given 3 small bottles of water and had to wait for the spare bed to be made for our child. The local shops and restaurants are not very good at all (and you need a car to carry food and water for a family) On another note, a couple arrived late and other guests had to show them their room as no one was there to even check them in and they had no idea where they were staying. The family are clearly making a lot of money and falsely informing people of what they provide, however, they are happy to tell you where their jewellery shops are! The apartments are clean, the pool is lovely, there is a local shop but it is a steep uphill walk that is approximately 10 minutes away in dreadful heat. They do not warn you that they provide no more than a bed to sleep on. If you are happy to pay for the bed and no more then this is a hotel for you, but if you expect a little more for your money I would recommend you stay somewhere else. We were offered no compensation. They happily took our money even though I raised the fact that it was misleading advertising. I was even told off for questioning it - I am half English and Greek so I know what the standards should be when travelling in Greece!

Stayed for our honeymoon for 2 weeks. Booking was easy and payment on arrival. Excellent communication from Angela online although unfortunately we never met. The Villas are run by her lovely mother - Irene. The cleaning lady is lovely and took a shine to our little one. There were even some toys out out for her on the bed on our arrival. And she was happy to do some washing for us to boot. Everything is kept spotless. The rooms could do with a little modernisation but so could much of the accommodation on the Island. Amazing views across Lourdas bay and beyond, ample sun loungers and chairs. The pool is spotless and very cold which is just what was needed as the weather was wonderful. Cannot rate this place highly enough and we are sure to return. We already miss the place and I’m still here when I write this review

Just came back from a relaxing time at Garbis. Accommodation and grounds were spotlessly clean, The apartment cleaned every day as was the pool. Cleaning lady was very friendly and keen to help. Irene was floating around making sure everything was ok for everybody. Nice quiet place for a relaxing holiday. Shops and tavernas 5 minute walk away.

Irene is the best host ever! We love her! Thank you for having us and to Helen the cleaner too who was also super friendly and accommodating! It felt as if we were staying with family, very welcoming and warm. We were welcomed with ice cold drinks and water. Everything was so clean, the pool and rooms. The value was amazing. Helped with a taxi to airport too. What a beautiful view from the pool. Short walk to restaurants and bars. The beach is further but accessible with a taxi or car. You could walk it too!
