The hotel itself was fine. However, when we checked in we paid for the room. They also put a $25 hold on my credit card. I was not told about any other charges. When I checked my bank account that night there was the charge that I paid for the room and another charge for $196. When I asked at check out I was told that it was a hold and that it would take 3 - 5 days to come off. Not happy. Then I called my bank, they said there was no hold, and the money was withdrawn. Called the hotel back, waited for a manager to call which never happened. Called again and was told that they put a preauth through at 3 pm since they were sold out. Why no one said that when were checking in is not ok. I budget to the dollar and this was a girls trip my sister and I took to have a break from our kids for a night. So now what should have been a nice stress free break, has just made me more stressed than before cause I have bills due. I have never had this happen any other hotel I’ve stayed at and will definitely not be staying at this hotel or any hotels associated with them.
