It is amazing what a place to stay .

Front desk truly go above and beyond. Upgraded rooms, facilities were exceptional.

Had an excellent time. All the staff were amazing . The food was excellent and thought the courtesy car bringing you up and down from the hotel to your accommodation was brilliant Throughly recommend

The setting was amazing along the coast of Ireland. The staff acted like we were the only ones there. we rented a cottage which was incredible. The town of Doonbeg was lovely

One of the most beautiful properties you would ever stay at. The breakfast was beyond any five-star resort I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was amazing.

Im afraid the arrival experience was so bad it was detrimental to the whole stay. I believe the exact wording of the welcome my wife and I received was an irate and grumpy "what's up, in for a look is it lads". In my opinion this was the exact opposite to a warm welcome and was at best shocking behaviour. I have no idea why any person would greet us in such a manner. Upon arrival to our room I immediately went online to try and book elsewhere, but the nearest available hotel was too far away37 minutes away and as it was already late in the evening, we felt it was too late to move elsewhere and so we decided to stay and try and make the best of it. When I made the complaint to reception, which lucky for me was my first complaint ever in any hotel, the gentleman who called me back to discuss the situation, who despite being very polite, tried to down play the situation by explaining that Trump Doonbeg try not to act too formal, that unfortunately their strategdy did not work out on this particular occasion. Despite our best efforts, the "welcome" ruined our stay and overshadowed everything else.

I paid ******* the full amount of two night stay in a premier ocean view suite. The room was nice overlooking the 18th hole green. However, as I was checking out, a clerk at the check out named Jennifer insisted that I only paid €1170.43, when I actually paid $$1770.48, a full amount of accommodation back in November, 2021. She insisted that the difference was what I negotiated with *******. When I said that the accommodation was fully paid and asked her to check for the apparent mistake, she shouted at me by saying that I was not listening to her. I left by asking her to have their accounting depar**ent contact me to explain the difference. After one week, I still have not heard from the accounting depar**ent. Overall the service was OK but far inferior to three other five star hotels I stayed. The hotel is dated and need a modernization and better customer hospitality. Upon returning home, I am telling everyone not to stay there.
