The Loutrel was very nice and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was just what we wanted for our stay in Charleston. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Loutrel has a boutique hotel feel with ample space. We enjoyed a sunset on the rooftop, Super Bowl Sunday in the lobby bar, and were very comfortable in the mezzanine lounge after checkout. The complimentary water and tea bar was a pleasant surprise after strolling all day through Charleston. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect and I appreciate the Dyson hair dryer and the clothing steamer. The bed was very comfortable and our room was quiet. We stayed 2 nights and would definitely stay there again.

The Loutrel is truly an amazing experience from the time you arrive until your departure. They’re big on guest experience and every detail is carefully added, from the daily Finest Hour to the many in-room amenities.

Pros:
- lovely, boutique property with excellent service.
- super walkable, convenient location.
- the amenities are great, onsite gyms usually leave a lot to be desired, but theirs is nicely set up and stacked.
- rooftop terrace and its views is gorgeous, I wish there was a bar up there!
- the continent breakfast is delicious, hands down one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever enjoyed.
Cons:
- would be nice if they had a more robust kitchen onsite for room service. Right now they have very little bc they don’t have a restaurant onsite.

The hotel is beautiful and is in a great location. You literally walk out the front door and all the sights are less than a 10 minute walk.
