This my 8th time here since my bday 2021 and my 3rd birthday so I’m quite familiar w the hotel and staff. I truly enjoy all the amenities, location , ample parking , sauna and steam …on site spa…Yada yada yada. I had a problem last year and mgmt stepped up and went above and beyond to make me feel special. This time they had a convention and wound up giving away my reserved room ( I booked my flight 23 Nov 2023 soooo I’m positive I booked the hotel same day). Naturally they gave me the “corporate “ response but I was calm and insistent that I wanted equal or better to my first and only choice ( I’ve had the same executive suite all 8 stays ). I’d like to send a very special shout out and super big thanks to Valentina who I just met and to my buds Eduardo and Rafael for taking the extra time and patience to find me an even better choice….now I’m spoiled and canNOT go back to the regular exec suite, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; treat people w respect and it’ll come back tenfold and it’s people like those three that make the difference, not AI or Sr mgmt…the people on the front line. Thanks for continuing to make one guy feel special
We had breakfast at the restaurant everyday during our stay and the staff was was helpful and accommodating. Moises was our server and was very friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
Fabulous place, amazing breakfast, wonderful owners and staff. Right smack dab in the middle of everything and perfect for walking to just about anywhere. The ac is icy cold (which was much needed as it was so ridiculously hot!) and the amenities are great. A few things to note- if you get a room on the upper floors or want to use the terrace, it's up VERY tight, narrow and winding staircases to get there. Also, if you get the Africa suite, be prepared- the bed is incredibly hard, like a rock, and unless you like sleeping on the floor, you're going to despise it.
My wife and I stayed here for the last 4 days of our honeymoon. We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is quaint and provided the intimate feel that we were looking for after staying in other larger hotels earlier in our trip. Our accommodations were quiet yet right in the middle of anything we wanted to do in the Walled City. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The entire hotel was immaculately clean. The location also made us feel very safe. The pool was a perfect escape from the mid day heat. The bed was a comfortable ending to great days exploring the city. The bathroom was elegant with high ceilings and a large mirror. The shower was spacious but lacked water pressure due to the head being located so high. However, this did not negatively impact our stay. The only improvement to the hotel I would offer would be to develop the rooftop observation deck to become a more welcoming space. We ventured up there to take a look at the city and found a lovely space that with a little work could be a great draw to see the ancient architecture of the Walled City. It has been a week since our trip and I still catch myself dreaming about our time at the hotel. Wonderful place to stay.
The beds were like falling in clouds and the room was always immaculately clean 😁 the decor in the lobby was well thought about. But my favourite part was the staff they were sooo nice and engaging, nobody seemed like they were not enjoying work and they were very courteous and willing to assist at anytime. Big shout out to my favourite bar tender Luis from the lobby Angél from the Roof top bar, Leslie our lifeguard, Camilla one of our servers Daniella and Oneyeda from Reception and the ever so kind housing keeping staff and the the General Maanger Jacqueline. Shout out to Johnathan and Kenin and Mateo. You all made us Jamaicans who are hard to please very welcomed keep up the good work. The only thing I will say is that breakfast needs to be a bit more diverse as it was the same thing everyday that can get boring. P.S these guys need better pay for the service they Provide.

The hotel is ideal if you have a car, or will move by taxi or Ub... since Cartagena's Transcaribe Public Transit does not reach ”La Boquilla” area. The beach is across a highway overpass. The breakfast is on the light side (there is no breakfast buffet) but reasonable in calories and well cooked. I loved the corn dough empanadas filled with meat, I had never tried them before and they were a treat. You can also have a two eggs omelette with coffee or two eggs any style. I praise the personnel at this hotel, and the vigilance of management. The beach across the highway is not for instagram, but that is one of the cleaner strips within the city of Cartagena.
This was my first visit to Colombia and it was a blast! This was due in large part to my stay at this Hampton Inn at Bocogrande Beach. Very nice hotel, great location, very friendly and helpful staff, they served the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel which was complimentary. I spent a couple days on the rooftop pool and bar. There is a safe in the room. The hotel does not offer any rooms with a king size bed, no mini fridge but really no complaints. Everything was around the hotel. So many bars, restaurants, some casinos. I would definitely look to stay here again on my next visit.
