避風港郊外小屋(The Haven)

Fantastic natural place. If you love serenity, nature and cool African design and architecture, this is the place. The most wonderful view of the Nile from the bungalows with birds singing and monkeys jumping outside your window. Very good service and food with a restaurant with same natural view. Don’t come for music and party- come for nature and coolness. Loved it.

This place is a safe haven with an amazing view on the waterfalls of the mighty Nile and redtail monkeys in the trees. The service is impeccable and super helpfull. They helped us very good by connecting us to a good driver mr elvis. Ask for him! As often in uganda prices are way too high. It was a shame it was unclear what the prices were for food. We had a lazy tent which was good. The wash room with toilets and showers was good.too. We would definitely return, but wait until prices will get more agreeable. The rafting and canoo option overdid our budget sadly with around 150 dollar.

After 2 weeks on the road around Uganda, The Haven was supposed to be our 2 days of relaxation. The campsite is very nice, same with staff and food. The pool area was however a complete madness with screaming kids throughout the entire day. Parents didn’t seem to bother. Only place for us to seek some quietness was at our car…. what a shame.

Wow what a location! Def the highlight of our trip accommodation wise. Absolutely amazing. Our bungalow was just incredible. Food was also amazing and the service. Would highly recommend this and we were gutted it was only for one night! Thank you

One of my frequently visited town escape resorts in Uganda. It is lovely!! Safe, beautiful, the meals are great and the breakfast is really a special one. Friendly owner and staff, been there many times and not a single experience as been questionable, so it keeps me going back!!

We stayed 5 nights at the Haven and can only recommend this place to people looking for amazing views and an environment for relaxation. We stayed in lodge 10 with a huge terrace and hammock for morning coffee and afternoon views over the Nile. We had full board and the kitchen was very flexible in terms of our request for kids and healthy food. We really enjoyed all the garden games - nothing fancy but a possibility to rewind and relax. The breakfast was served on each table and something we will miss.

Stunning location, great amenities pool table, kids play area, beautiful relaxing terrace overlooking the river. Food was excellent and service impeccable. I also highly recommend the massage - best massage I have had for a long time! Overall excellent and highly recommend. It definitely likes up to its reputation as a true haven.

We didn’t spend much time here, but the rooms were comfortable and it was nice sitting for breakfast, watching the river flow. Friendly staff good food. It’s a pretty rough road to get here because it’s far away from the main city but that’s the only way to get right on the river.

What a fantastic resort, the view of falls on the river Nile that greet you on arrival in reception is truely exceptional. The lodges must be seen to really appreciate their splendour, they are spacious, well laid out and very comfortable. The food is good with a great breakfast. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to provide any request. Only wished we could have stayed longer, highly recomended.
