Lets come straight to the point: They are total of may be 7-10 staff to look after 150 guests hence they are only for earning money and not for providing you a good experience. 1. Cleanliness - Will clean room only before you check-in and in later days you won't even see them, even when asked them repeatedly to do the cleaning, staff just vanished to never come back. The restaurant buffet table is actually bed for stray dogs and cats where next day they will be serving the food for you and worst thing is they don't even clean the table. Beach is very dirty, they don't care if beach gets filled with plastics and bottles. 2. Food - Tasteless, worst food of this resort, just 1 cook and helper is there. They'll charge you 500 for breakfast and everyday will give only Poori (made of maida) and aaloo chole with normal bread and jam. They don't server a-la-carte hence will charge you 400 for lunch buffet (roti, chawal (lowest quality),dal (only water), 2 sabji (no paneer/exotic dishes))- and 500 for dinner. Better to look for food options outside, we had our lunch and dinner in Annapurna hotel just 50m away to the right of this resort with good food at reasonable price. 3. How to fool people - Don't you go by name ”Sea View-with balcony” as no rooms in this resort is sea view and all the rooms from cheapest to costliest is having balcony. Secondly don't get fooled by seeing bath tub, water doesn't run from taps in bathtub it's just for making fool of us. A/C doesn't works from early morning 10 till evening 4p.m and the reason they will state is electricity is not their, hence sweat it out. 4. Service: The staff are rude and it seems they have done a favour to us by providing us room, if you are late by more than 30 mins, they will stand at your head outside your room as if you are a tenant who hasn't paid their rent from past 6 months and will ask to vacate you in very rude manner. DON'T BOOK THIS RESORT, CHEAP, MONEY MINDED, GOONS, WILL DESTROY YOUR HOLIDAY MOOD. Book Symphony resort instead.

Management was very polite and humble. We observed best stay while in tour with family. They provides good and delicious food. Cleanliness is also very great. Deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable and sufficient for family stay alongwith extra bed.

DDonovan_lOne of the nicer hotels in Port blair. The lobby is very wide and minimalist. Staff took some time to process the check in, need to take photo of our passports and the visa page.
The room is spacious, air conditioner was very powerful, bathroom was large enough too.
The hotel is walking distance to the clock tower and the Cellular jail. Food wise, the breakfast is served at the top floor and there is an average selection of Indian food items. On one day, we asked them to pack breakfast as we had an early start. They only gave us jam sandwich and some biscuits, it was bad.

Convenient hotel for stay in port blair Good: 1. Convenient location. Very close to cellular jail, airport, market 2. rooms were clean 3. staff was polite 4. can easily find autos outside hotel 5. breakfast was satisfactory Not so good: 1. Bathroom fittings need maintenance. Shower fitting was not in very good condition 2. small bed, queen size Port Blair: Its a cute town and can be conveniently and economically explored on scooter if that suits you. Ideally you should keep 3 nights for port Blair. Things to cover- cellular jail- carbyns cove beach-chidiya tapu-few islands nearby To do: Cellular jail is worth a visit and the light and sound show is not to be missed Carbyns cove beach is also worth a visit. The coastal road to this beach is very beautiful. If you have time you can plan both sunrise and evening visits. On the way to carbyns cove there is Flag point which is a must visit specially post sunset hours. There is a very patriotic feel to this place. Its a beautiful view seeing tri colour waving high in the backdrop of ocean and island and with some historical context to it which can be read there, the point has been nicely maintained and you can sit there and spend some time enjoying the breeze and views Autos can be found easily in port blair. It is better to hire autos for sight seeing then taxis which charge exorbitant rates The marine museum is a must visit. Its small but very informative and sets a context to the andaman trip, we visited towards the end of trip and were able to relate to the exhibits there and learned a lot about the islands and life. Anthropological museum can be skipped Annapurna cafeteria is a good local eatery. Reasonably priced and good food You should definitely make a visit to chidiya tapu. This is an amazing place.The property is top notch. Amazingly clean, big rooms, Basket for kids. They are some of the highlights it has. Located at a hill top near Radhanagar beach. Check in super fast with welcome drink. The rooms are big in size with private balcony. Amenities are well stocked. Rooms clean and tidy. Food is amazing and service quick. The resort has ample of space every where and so soothing to eyes. The staff make you feel amazing. They upgraded us to a higher category room. The check out super fast. All in all this is a lovely place for a good vacation. Will definitely recommend. And surely come back.

It was a beautiful family trip and a wonderful stay at Symphony Palms Beach Resort. The location is very appealing, the environment is amazing, making it perfect for relaxing or exploring amazing marine life in the area. The services and food were up to mark, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and the sea-facing cottages were a real highlight, waking up to those views was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was nothing more to ask for as everything was taken care of. Not just that, if you are into sports activities, the resort is close to the spots for water sports and other adventures. You need a great place to stay, relax and enjoy, choose this resort with no second thought. I highly recommend visiting Symphony Palms. Thank you for wonderful luxurious experience.
