Matsya島度假勝地

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Matsya. The location is midway between both sides of the island and very peaceful, although it is best if you have a car/scooter rather than relying on autos. The only downside was that the WiFi was very patchy.

The resort is one of the most Serene, authentic and nature surrounded resort. The location of the hotel is at the middle of the beach and the market. The Room interior is so unique based on fish theme which makes it different from other resorts. The resort is children friendly as well, the staff here take care of smallest things for the children including toys. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

A truly unique experience. Location is absolutely breathtaking surrounded by green fields and hills. The theme of this resort is what stands out the most! Everything here is fish themed with an antique, earthy rustic vibe with a lot of attention to detail. Even the switch boards and taps are made out of brass. You'll also be greeted with the cutest German shepherd the moment you arrive. Totally recommend if you're staying the night on havelock islands, andaman! Do check it out!

Gorgeous Island retreat with exceptional service. We were welcomed like family and had everything we needed for our stay. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and spacious gathering areas. From our delicious meals and lovely rooms, to our many island and boating adventures, I would never want to stay anywhere else.

The location was beautiful, and the atmosphere was too. All the decorations were handcrafted, and the walls were beautifully constructed with vines and fish, flowing and swimming through them. The rooms were comfortable with an absolutely amazing view. In my room there was a view of a creek, during the rain it was remarkable to look at. The service was excellent the staff truly cared about your experience. The wifi was good. They also have a clean pool and a rooftop for groups to hang out or other things. At night if you go up to the rooftop, you will get an amazing view of the stars.

Matsya is my one and only place that I stay when I come to the Andamans. The staff is amazing and accommodations are truly magnificent. If you are evening thinking about traveling to the Andamans go Matsya.

Our stay at Matsya Island Retreat was truly exceptional and easily one of the highlights of our trip to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island). The rooms deserve a special mention for their stunning rustic tropical boutique aesthetic. Designed with earthy neutral tones—think warm beiges, soft browns, and natural textures—the space feels both grounded and refined. The use of wood, subtle décor elements, and clean lines gives it an upscale boutique hotel vibe, while still staying true to the island’s laid-back charm. The overall ambiance creates a calming, almost zen-like mood, making it incredibly easy to relax and disconnect. The service deserves equal praise—warm, attentive, and always prompt. The team ensured our stay was seamless and comfortable, always available whenever we needed assistance. Another big advantage is the property’s excellent location. It is conveniently close to multiple beaches and the jetty, all within about a 15-minute drive in any direction. This made getting around very easy and allowed us to spend more time enjoying the island rather than traveling. They also helped us plan our stay perfectly, striking just the right balance between activities and relaxation. We never felt rushed, yet managed to cover everything we wanted while still having plenty of time to unwind and soak in the surroundings. Overall, a beautifully curated experience combining aesthetics, comfort, great service, and a very convenient location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Andamans.

The room was definitely the highlight of the stay, always clean and beautifully decorated. Service wise they've been helpful, and kind throughout, they helped us rent a scooter, on site spa was nice and they were helpful in organizing transfers when needed. Unfortunately the swimming pool on site was full of sand so we didn't use it, it would have been nice to use it to rest in the middle of the day. But we loved the location, almost midway from the main beaches of the island. Food and breakfast was good, and they've been flexible in accommodating different times in between our organized activities.
