The employees were all very efficient and friendly. The room's lay-out was odd. The bed nightstand and end table placement on either side of the bathroom hall entrance begged for a stubbed toe or trip. No complimentary coffee in the morning is likely a corporate Marriot policy. Let the free coffee flow folks. This is out of step with most hotels. Overall this hotel feels a bit "tired".

The hotel was a beautiful hotel. Rooms were clean and provided everything we needed. Our first room, we had to switch at 10pm because the air conditioning was not working. However, they immediately gave us another room next door. Very convenient. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the bed. For paying that much, I would have hoped for a bed that didn’t make me incredibly stiff. That is the only upgrade needed.

There was a dirty napkin next to the bed, a barking dog next door, and we requested the room to be cleaned and towels changed. We came back from boating all day to find no towels or cleaned room. It took 30 min to find new towels

Nice place next to the River Walk with amazing view of Manatee River.

In town to see Family. We have stayed there multiple times.

There are no cameras in the very dark parking lot. Someone stole my license plate off of my car overnight. The front desk was very helpful, but it is 2024 so it is not over the top to expect to have cameras in a parking lot. The carpet smelled and looked like it should be replaced. The bathroom vanity was looked pretty worn out.

The "balcony room" had a "balcony" that was 15 inches wide! Barely enough room to stand if you edged in sideways

Resort area so very pricy. Was informed at check in that breakfast was 6-10am only to find out the following morning that breakfast was a satellite Starbucks and we all know how much that costs. Courtyard and pool area was very nice. Daughter stepped on a piece of broken glass in her room and another guest we were talking with at the pool said she found two open safety pins on the floor in their room.
