柏林Woolworth附近住宿

壞境不錯，離地鐵站近，但是酒店的人基本不會講英文。旁邊有超市、葯妝店、郵局一應俱全。酒店的鑰匙不能帶出去，每次走出去要把鑰匙留在前台。但是我在柏林三天，住在這裏很舒服。但是這裏的早餐超難吃。超級的難吃！

Buona sera. premesso che non ho alloggiato nell'Hotel, ma ho avuto una brutta esperienza, viaggiavo in auto con la mia famiglia, ho prenotato tramite booking, ed essendo in ritardo per traffico, ho chiamato la struttura assicurandomi che mi potevano accogliere, ( la persona alla reception non parlava bene inglese) ma mi ha assicurato che erano aperti. arrivato ho trovato tutto chiuso, essendo sprovvisto di internet ho provato a chiamare ma niente, ho dovuto nel pieno della notte trovare un'altro hotel. il giorno successivo ho contattato chiarendo il tutto mi hanno detto che le chiavi erano in un box adiacente, per me non facile da individuare, ad ogni modo mi avevano detto che non mi caricavano il costo. invece differentemente dopo 15 giorni mi sono ritrovato caricato l'interno prezzo dell'alloggio. a mio parere non professionali e poco sinceri. Posso capire da manager una penale ma intero importo mi sembra assurdo.

Das Abenteuer startet hier ! Dieser Slogan begrüßte mich an der Rezeption als ich nach 19 Uhr an einem über 30 Grad heißen Freitag Abend einchecken wollte. Das Zimmer lag im 3. Stock und der nette Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption fragte mich, ob ich einen Fahrstuhl bräuchte. Als ich das bejahte, erklärte er mir, das der Hotellift leider defekt sei, ich aber das Hotel verlassen könne und im Nachbargebäude den Lift nutzen kann, um dann wieder in das Hotel über einen Zugang auf der Etage zum Zimmer zu gelangen. Das Zimmer war erwartungsgemäß eingerichtet, sehr gut hergerichtet und sauber. Sogar eine Klimaanlage war vorhanden, wenn ich einen kleinen Kühlschrank sehr gerne noch gehabt hätte. Das Fenster war angeklappt, so das die Außentemperatur auch im Zimmer herrschte. Das Hotel befindet sich an einer ziemlich frequentierten Straßenkreuzung mit Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Deswegen habe natürlich das Fenster geschlossen und wollte die Klimaanlage aktivieren. Leider passte die Bedienungsanleitung nicht zu dem Bedienelement der Anlage. Eine nette und bemühte Mitarbeiterin, welche ich auf dem Flur ansprach erklärte mir die Funktion : den Temperaturregler maximal auf ROT stellen, den Ein/Aus- Schalter in die richtige Stellung bringen - die leider nicht beschriftet war und dann noch die Ventilation wie gewünscht regulieren. Auf meinen Einwurf hin, das das Zimmer schon viel zu warm sei und ich nicht noch nachheizen wolle, sagte sie mir das ist schon richtig so, denn die Anlage werde im Winter umgeschaltet und das es nun natürlich noch einen Weile dauern würde, bis die gewünschte Wirkung einträte. Stunden später hatte ich dann die Wahl: entweder vor Hitze nicht schlafen zu können, oder das Fenster weit zu öffnen, die mittlererweile kühlere Nachtluft einzulassen und wegen des Verkehrslärms keinen Schlaf zu finden... . Die Klimaanlage war jedenfalls ohne Funktion. Das bestätigte mir bei der Schlüsselabgabe am nächsten Morgen dann die gleiche nette Mitarbeiterin, sie hätte das wohl am Vorabend auch leider feststellen müssen. Das eine Steckdose locker und eine Leselampe an der Liege auch ohne Funktion war, nahm sie dann als Hinweis auf. Das Frühstück war dem Preis in Auswahl und Qualität angemessen, leider gab es keinerlei warmen Speiseangebote.

I'm really surprised by the low reviews as this wasn't our experience at all. Yes it's a budget hotel, so I wouldn't expect a 5* star experience BUT our room was modern, clean, spacious and comfortable (the pillows could be a little plumper). The bed was two twins pushed together but this is common in Germany and the nordic regions, so not unexpected plus we both love having our own duvet and, after travelling, we now have this at home too. It was great to have a free bottle of water in the room and we also bought soft drinks from reception when we arrived. We were on the top floor (14th) and we had no issues with the lift. Staff were friendly on arrival and we even managed to access our room one hour early with no additional fees. We didn't eat in the hotel as we were there to enjoy Berlin, we got up early to have breakfast in central Berlin and had dinner before returning to the hotel. Public transport in Berlin is amazing and there are numerous tram stops near the hotel. We used the M6 most often (5 min walk from the stop to hotel) to Alexanderplatz and beyond but also used another nearby stop to use other transport connections to move around the city. It did take quite some time to get to and from the airport as you do need to make connections but everything was easy to do and we never experienced any late running services. Would we stay here again, maybe...we would not hesitate to stay in the hotel again but only if we didn't have early morning flights (which we did)! This meant that when we arrived, we had to carry our heavy bags around the city centre to make the most of our 3 nights (the hotel was too far away to go there to drop bags and then come back). We were so tired, that we chanced heading to the hotel early to see if early check-in was possible and they were very helpful. On our last day we had to get up at 4am as we were on an early flight home and it took more than 90 mins to go from hotel to airport, we would loved to have stayed somewhere near a station with direct airport links to get that extra 60 mins in bed. So if you don't have early morning flights, then definitely go for it and get a Welcome to Berlin card as that covers all of your travel including from the airport to hotel. Berlin is a brilliant city and we loved it!
