The property itself was okay, but there are no amenities here. I selected this place for the area, and that is what I got. It is only a 5 minute walk from the main part of town, and the host is more than able to arrange anything you want to do on the island. I had to make this as a last minute booking so the host had not received my booking when I got to the location. So if you can make sure to book in advance. Also for us from the USA, make sure you have cash for your stay, as I was advised they do not take credit cards.

Perfect location close to everything. The style of the hotel was very cool, I felt like I was in a tree house. The room it self was very spacious, however the bathroom was very very small and the water didn't stay hot, and there was no water pressure at all it almost was at trickle. Very noisy, sound was like there wasn't walls there at all. The owner tried to make me pay in Cash.

This place really does look like the photos! It's whimsical and interesting, and feels just like being in big tree house! You see something different wherever you look, all the rooms are on different levels, and the steps and railings are all made of branches. There is even a bridge to cross over a "mote", where one of the rooms is. This is the feeling you want when you are in the Galapagos environment - natural, interesting, fun. The only drawbacks are the water pressure and the wifi, but I hear this is a problem everywhere on the island. I was never around at breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

This place had an amazing location with the cutest rooms and community areas. It was helpful to me that owner spoke English as my Spanish isn’t very good. The only thing I didn’t prefer about property was the artificial air fresheners in rooms. Everything else was perfect!

This is an AMAZING hostel! You seriously feel like you’re in a treehouse and each room is unique and comfortable. There are so many “hangout” spots around on multiple levels making for awesome views. The host, Aaron, deeply cares for the hostel and you can tell he is passionate by his level of customer service. This is one of my favorite hostels I have ever stayed at in the world and definitely #1 in customer service. Aaron was an amazing host and communicated with us via WhatsApp within minutes he responds. I booked everything easily with Aaron when we arrived and he checked on us throughout our entire stay even when we moved on to Isabela. 10/10 would recommend

Very comfortable stay at Victors beautiful property. Great central location in Puerto Ayora

They scammed me into paying for a "stolen" bike. The allegedly stolen bike had its gear shifter and the tire changed while had the exact same wear and tear marks on the settle and the frame. Not only they damned me for this they also priced a used bike for $300 USD while a better bike goes for $80 USD on the island. Please be very careful with them

I didn’t even stay here, yet I wish I had. Some friends I was traveling with stayed here and I cannot express my gratitude to Victor and his son for all of their hospitality. Victor helped arrange day trips, fixed an error with my previous booking, and even taxied my group back to the airport. If he didn’t know the person to call, then he knew someone that did know that person. In terms of the actual rooms, they were spacious, clean, and very fun (regarding decoration and building setup). Good location too. Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars and if I ever return I will be booking here. I highly recommend Lonesome George to anyone wanting to book a room on Santa Cruz.

Our place was cute and conveniently in a central location near the main street. Victor proved to be an invaluable asset, offering assistance in scheduling tours and providing comprehensive insights into various options across the islands. His friendly demeanor added to the enjoyment of our stay. We appreciated the availability of cold water, bananas, and instant coffee throughout our visit, which was a nice touch. However, possibly due to low season, the pool was unfilled, and the bar/coffee shop was never opened. There was also some unusual dust falling from the bamboo ceiling onto the bed, and our key broke leaving our belongings exposed for the final two days of our stay. Despite these issues, our overall experience was positive, thanks to the hospitality of Victor and the comfortable accommodations.
