The stay was okay. Very friendly staff. The room was non-smoking; however, it reeked of cigarettes. The TV also kept glitching out and the brightness kept going up and down. The remote didn’t match the TV so I couldn’t navigate the menu to fix the issue. It was also pretty loud in the morning. Someone from Motel 6 kept whistling very loud for 2 hours straight at 6 in the morning

The property was clean and quiet. The breakfast was decent. Parking was easy and convenient. In my opinion, the beds were comfortable enough as i do have a back injury and am very sensitive to how soft or tough beds are and i had no issues with it. There were plenty of towels there suitable for the amount of people staying in the room. Easy checkout and check in. Highly recommended for your stay in Arcata.

Very well-run, clean and pleasant. Road noise from Hwy 101. Very good got breakfast. We’d definitely stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was updated and clean, and the staff on the phone and in person were always very helpful and polite.

The room was good. The bathroom was tiny, old school with no exhaust fan. The free breakfast was good. The indoor hot tub was good.

The property was clean and had BBQ area which we enjoyed. Staff was super friendly. The room was perfect. It's just to bad it's by the hwy. I would have stayed in the nice BBQ area longer. Glad couldn't hear from room ☺️

Would not recommend this hotel. Pleasant enough staff on check-in. Didn't know on booking or check-in that pool was not working and wouldn't be for another month (informed when I asked). Went to ground floor room 121, had lots of bugs in bathroom. Immediately went back to reception, was asked to show pictures of them, initially told there wasn't anything that could be done because maintenance had gone home, wasn't initially offered another room until I asked, was moved to room 226 upstairs which did not have any bugs. Was a jacuzzi room which I did use but was very noisy. Decent breakfast, lots of food options and seating available, seemed clean and frequently replenished.

It was relatively a decent area. The outside looks like an average motel, no view. Felt like it was a little costly though compared to other motels in that area. Spacious room, tiny bathroom though. Most of the nights I was there I got woken up by people leaving or getting in their cars at 4am so in that regard it was a little noisy.

Convenient base for exploring northern Redwood coast parks and accessing Hwy 200 inland. Good breakfast and clean quiet room

We liked the location as it was easy to get to the different sights we wanted to see. Wonderful staff all the way around. Would highly recommend.

I am used to Best Western being a better standard, so I was expecting something different, especially for the price which was not cheap. Place seemed run down, bathroom door was peeling, etc. Breakfast was good though, and we slept well.

The room was clean and bigger than expected, quiet facility, and breakfast was great - lots of choices. Jace at the front was super nice and helpful/hospitable. Will stay there again!
