塔姆沃思南普瑞米爾飯店(Premier Inn Tamworth South)

Road so noisy !! As this hotel has no air con I needed to sleep with the window open … unfortunately there is a major A road behind my room - the A5 , and the traffic noise at 10pm is still horrendous ( roaring cars/ bikes/lorries). Previously I’ve stayed at the front of hotel ( above car park)- no problem. The hotel should really warn of this noise on their website . I’ve tried moving rooms and been told the other side is booked up. Do not stay here unless you book at the front or it’s winter and you keep the window closed .

We booked this Premier Inn to break up our journey to visit Santapod Raceway, as a base it was great, but not much around the hotel. Places to eat/visit were 10 minutes drive away. The hotel was just off the motorway and was easy to find. Lots of parking available when we arrived. Reception area was clean and welcoming, staff were very friendly and Check in was quick. Our room was in the newer part of the hotel, clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The only negatives there were a few maintainance issue that let the room down that needed a bit of TLC, the roof tiles, ceiling and bathroom wall. The room had working air-con but was still very warm, quilt was rather thick and unfortunately the windows don't open, our 2nd night we had to ask for a fan. We didn't eat in the restaurant, unfortunately they don't accept walk-ins. We would definitely use this hotel as our base again.

Plus points. Friendly staff, clean large room. Minus points. Air Con not working, shower pressure terrible and not hot, no slip mat for bath (which is essential for “older” customers). Although booked four rooms for two nights we couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast offers because the computer was “playing up”, which in turn meant after spending £900 on our first night we couldn’t have breakfast on our last morning because we didn’t book when checking in, disgusting service.

Found it in a shoddy state. Windows wouldn’t open so no way of getting any fresh air in the room & air conditioning did not work

We stayed here recently with other members of our family as we were attending a wedding. We all had a very pleasant stay. Had a very nice welcome, Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and nice size and beds very comfy. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here on our way back from Devon to Northumberland. Front desk staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had the meal deal so for dinner I had a massive fish and chips! The staff were short staffed and rushed off their feet. But they kept smiling and were very pleasant. In the morning different staff but equally as friendly and efficient. Breakfast was not buffet but freshly cooked to order. Would definitely stay there again

We was in a room above the boiler room right next to the stairs the doors was slamming until early hours hardly had any sleep, then got woke up around 5am to the boiler room noice starting up. Staff couldn’t do anything for us left the hotel very tired

Really enjoyed the atmosphere the food and the staff here. Felt very relaxed thanks to Charlotte. We were able to linger on at meet up with family after all this time. Didn't feel they were trying to get rid of us despite the fact that we spent ages there catching up.

Stated at Tamworth South PI for one night prior to an event at NEC. Thought I’d get a great nights sleep as the beds are usually comfy…not so this time…..lumpy mattress and pillows and pillows a bit grubby looking. No protectors. All need replaced.
