There were somany names I associated with this place yet it's been that long but I remembered about the fact I said to a reception I shall put a review now I shall have kept my word. Comfy, neat, perf

Bookings cancelled, reservations cancelled, Christmas events cancelled. No thought for locals who were members for years. They sold out for money. Closed without notice. Avoid use Premier Inn in Witney.

The rooms are dated/poor climate control (old heater) /food is inedible/service is poor/ no plug points/no late check out available. The breakfast was ok but the waiter was rude. It’s not worth the money

Being local I suggested this hotel for colleagues coming to Witney for work meetings. Not one of my better decisons! Rooms were OK but I was surprised at how limited the electic sockets are as none by the bed. Although the room was clean, it was certainly 'tired', especially the bathroom. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays, so we had to eat in the bar. Not a big issue, but it is a very limited menu. Staff didn't seem very friendly or overly eager to serve. Food was OK, nothing more, but for what we got felt it was pricey and rather small portions too. Breakfast was buffet with good selection of hot and cold food, although some of the hot food was somewhat dried up under the heat lights. Again though, the staff on the first morning were not very attentive and seemed more interested in thier conversation than looking after guests. The so called spa are though was very disappointing. Chaning rooms were dirty, not just from the use that day but cobwebs on the ceiling, tiles were dirty and the pool area generally very uninviting. The jacuzzi had sand/grit in the bottom, stam room didn't work and sauna was at best warm. Will nto be recommending this place next time we have work meetings in Witney

After reading the reviews we thought it was a mistake coming here, but how wrong were the reviews. Check in quick and easy and met with friendly staff. The room was very clean and big. The food was of a good standard breakfast was a good choice something for everyone. We had an evening meal there which again was very nice and the staff very efficient and friendly. We used the swimming pool and sauna which was very nice and very clean. Overall our stay was very enjoyable perhaps the only negative was a lack of water pressure in the shower. Would recommend this hotel in a good location for visiting the Cotswolds.
