Everything was perfect. The location is beautiful, the historic hotel nicely maintained and the service friendly. Our two half-board dinners were delicious and prices are reasonable. We strongly recommend this secluded hide-away with a strong link to swiss early history.

My wife and I had our wedding here. The preperations went off without a hitch, we got asked the right questions and got excellent recommendations. The wedding itself was perfect! The scenery was beautiful, all our guests enjoyed the fine dinner and the historic room was wonderful to dance in. We spent the night at Paxmontana afterwards and had a lovely breakfast that morning. Simply an amazing experience all in all!

It is a late 19th century hotel that has kept all of its beautiful decorations and fin de siècle chique. The rooms are simple but comfortable and well furnished. But their main attraction is the view! Whether you are on the front or the back of the hotel, the views are equally spectacular. There are plenty of good hikes nearby (of different levels of intensity) and relaxing on the terrace looking at the mountains afterwards beats the comfort of any spa. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of Swiss mountain cheeses, home made muesli with ditto fruit compote. Dinner was very good with many local specialities. We didn't know the hotel, but certainly hope to return, soon!

Weil Haupthaus ausgebucht war buchte ich ein Zimmer im benachbarten Gästehaus, mit Frühstück im Haupthaus. Zimmer im Gästehaus einfach, eher klein, aber sehr sauber und insgesamt sehr faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auch das Laden meines e-Autos an hoteleigener Ladestation wurde offeriert. Personal sehr hilfsbereit, v.a. Frühstücksservice äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Top Frühstücksbuffet, wo großen Wert auf lokale Lieferanten gelegt wird. 👍

Es war ein Geburtstagsgeschenk für meinen Mann, Package Zeitreise: 2 Nächte,2 Abendessen,Willkommensapero, Hotelführung. Viel Vorfreude. Das Gute: Abendessen perfekt, historisches Hotel sehr schön. Gartenterasse super, Service braucht vieeel Geduld,Morgenbuffet sehr bescheiden: Früchteplatte sehr schnell abgeräumt bis auf die Orangenscheiben,die blieben da, so als Mahnung, wenn du nicht alles isst, gibt es kein Dessert. Zimmer ( Standard) eine Besenkammer über dem Hoteleingang, Dauerberieselung durch bejahrte wohl schwerhörige Gruppen von 10.00 bis nach 24.00. Keine Reaktion des Personals auf Reklamation. Auf Beanstandung hin meinte die Hotelleitung, das Zimmer entspricht der gebuchten Kategorie, wenn ich nicht zufrieden sei, könne man über einen Wechsel in eine andere Kategorie ( und Preis) reden. Eine Frechheit, finde ich. Für so ein Package und den Preis erwarte ich ein anständiges Zimmer und entsprechende Behandlung als Kunde. Nie wieder. Es gibt in Flüeli—Ranft, der Ort und die Gegend ist traumhaft, andere 3Sterne Hotels, die sich nicht historisch nennen, ihre Gäste aber sicher besser behandeln. Man kann ins Paxmontana essen gehen, das lohnt sich, und das Preis/Leistungsverhätnis stimmt
