Booked this hotel 10 months ago to stay in mid May 2023. Received an email yesterday cancelling my booking. Not that surprised as this would appear to be a trend. Contacted the hotel. They have plumbing issues (course they have) and the hotel is closed until further notice. They said I could stay at their sister hotel if they could accommodate me but I would have to contact that hotel myself. I looked at other hotels in the area and guess what. Yes you are right they are all more expensive for the period I wish to stay. So unfortunately I will not be visiting Killarney. I would assume (probably incorrectly) that the Irish Tourist Board might be interested in this case as it is not the first of its type. Should you be in Killarney mid May drive past and see if the hotel is open. Probably will be but I wonder what the price to stay will be. NOT A HOTEL YOU WOULD WISH TO BECOME INVOLVED WITH IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER.

We loved our stay here. It is in a perfect location for seeing all around Killarney and a 10 min walk to the town centre. Afraim in the bar looked after us really well. Bar food was excellent, bed very comfy, breakfast plentiful and tasty. All staff very friendly, with even the maintenance man (didn't get his name) giving us ideas for trips.

Lovely experience overall, room was very clean, staff very welcoming, food was delicious and the waiter Josh was very kind! Nothing bad to say definitely great value deals, suitable for all ages and groups!

Stayed here this week with my partner one night. Service was amazing. Mia and Claire at réception were both very friendly, helpful and professional. The service in both bar and restaurant were very good and the room was spacious and luxurious and very clean. Got a very good deal for dinner b&b midweek. I can highly seconded this hotel and it overlooks the mountains and a short 10 minute stroll to killarney Town and has ample private parking

Room very basic, clean but not worth 120 for one night. Shower did not work at all. VERY HOT. Thin mattresses on ply wood boxes. Out dated. Great location, would suit someone in desperate need of somewhere to stay close to town. Arrived back to hotel at 1am, and room door key did not work. Waiting half hour on Night Porter.
