＂陳嘉庚先生故居（歸來堂）＂位於廈門集美區，是一座別具風格的閩南特色的代表性建築。庭院中佇立着陳嘉庚先生的全身銅像，銅像后的石屏上刻有毛澤東主席的＂華僑領袖，民族光輝＂題詞。歸來堂建於1962年，廳堂正中安放陳嘉庚的坐像，並懸挂着郭沫若撰寫的對聯和全國僑聯公祭陳嘉庚的悼詞。在故居兩側設立了＂陳嘉庚生平事迹陳列館＂，館內以＂經商南洋，情深鄉國＂、＂傾資興學，百折不撓＂、＂赤誠愛國，鞠躬盡瘁＂的陳列，展現了陳嘉庚一生的高尚品德和赤誠的愛國情懷。遊覽歸來堂不但可以了解陳嘉庚先生的事迹生平，又可觀賞集美的自然美景。

陳嘉庚先生故居坐落於集美鎮后尾角，今嘉庚路149號，是陳嘉庚先生居住過的地方，1918年建成。故居是一座兩層小樓房，1938年被日本飛機炸毀，后重修，直到完工后才重修居宅。
