Bamboo House is a fully renovated mid century cottage in the heart of the village. It is set within a completely enclosed private tropical oasis comprising a main house with 2 bedrooms and a separate shared bathroom, and two separate guest cottages each with en suite bathrooms. Each of the four bedrooms are outfitted with queen beds, ample storage / closet space and double glazed sound proof sash windows with solar shades. Each of the bathrooms are bright and modern, and outfitted with Kohler fixtures. The kitchen is fully equipped with white quartz countertops, Kohler fixtures and Bosch appliances - plus various coffee making options including a Nespresso machine. This quaint village home has been tastefully decorated in a perfect blend of contemporary modern style and timeless island charm. Lush outdoor tropical gardens surround the cottages and include an outdoor shower and many opportunities for relaxing and al fresco dining. Bamboo House is located on the busy end of Dunmore Street close to the intersection with Clarence Street - which is home to the famous license plate wall. Bamboo House is also equipped with a 24 hour standby generator to ensure uninterrupted power supply during your vacation. In March 2025 another 120 gallon hot water tank was added to ensure ample hot water supply for all guests.In off peak season, Bamboo House can be rented as just the main house (2 bedrooms and one separate shared bathroom), or the main house plus one guest cottage (total 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) or the main house plus two guest cottages (4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms). Next to the outdoor covered area sits a 1984 VW Bubble Gum Pink Bus that has been retrofitted into a private food truck (the outdoor kitchen) (with grill, wok burner and undercounter fridges). Chill out in one of the swings that hang over the social area of the pool, which are idyllic for relaxing day or night or, when the sun goes down put your feet up and enjoy watching your favourite movies on the remote screen with laser projector.Kings Surf Shack has 5 bedrooms (with a loft), 5.5 bathrooms, pantry and cozy TV room/kids area. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master is replete with a king size wicker bed, walk in closet and master bathroom with pink and green Cuban tiles and a double shower that leads to an outdoor bathtub and shower. Next to the master is the Surfer Girl Room with four poster queen bed and ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom is the Bunk Room with a fun barn wood fort for children to enjoy.Annexed to the main house is the Guest Suite with a king size bed, loft with two twin beds, ensuite bathroom, sitting room (with TV) and coffee station.Above the outdoor covered area is the Guest Cottage, with king size bed, TV, full kitchen with Big Chill Retro Yellow Appliances and balcony hanging over the pool.On top of the Guest Cottage sits a Crows Nest with fabulous Ocean Views and a king size day bed for sunbathing or stargazing.Under the Guest Cottage sits the mini gym with a Peloton Bike, Yoga Mats and a few free weights.Behind the Guest Cottage is an outdoor Shower and bathroom.The entire home is powered during the day by Solar Power.
