I stayed at the hostel for a week. The reason why I stayed so long was because the place has a really nice cozy terrace where people from all over the world gather, which makes it very attractive.
Now about the conditions: the toilets were dirty, flooded and smelly every single day. There was chewing gum in the sink (of course this is made by the guests). There was one day without hot water because the staff didn’t order gas before it finished. The kitchen has almost no amenities to cook, even though almost everyone was cooking, ad was constantly dirty, it was caos. The room was quiet and with a good temperature, but one day the staff came in around 11pm to show the room to a guest, turned on the lights and was speaking loudly.
The price is cheap, sure, but I guess there’s a reason for it.
I believe this hostel has not enough staff for the amount of work there is, maybe it also needs some signs around to remember people to clean after themselves. Kitchen needs an upgrade. Thank you
AAllyWe were visiting Mexico City for holiday and found the hotel to be in a superb location for all we had planned. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. The room was superb. The only downside was that we had booked with breakfast and there was a lot of confusion as to what our breakfast should be. First day we had one small piece of toast and a couple of pieces of fruit but the second day we were offered any eggs dish from the main menu. We thought perhaps they had got it wrong on the first day as this amount was just about right for a child rather than an adult. However on day three we were offered what we had on day one so very confusing.
Other than this our stay was superb.
