「窗外既是如畫的風景。入住的感覺還是不錯的。 頂部的房間是兩間房和一個浴室，一間一個雙人床，另一間是兩張錯開放置的單人床。 要洗澡時，發現花灑打開就沒法關閉，也沒法調節水温，下樓找前台並沒有找到人，前台晚上是下班狀態。花灑就這樣開了一晚。於是第二天悲劇了，水已經往下滲漏了。老闆第二天上來好幾趟也沒法解決。表示很抱歉，要給我們退全款。 早餐是點餐的，在送來的菜單上點自己需要的套餐，在前台下班前送下去。 酒店還有游泳池，晚上十點關閉。」

「這是一棟可以追溯到1548年的歷史建築，經歷了11個主人，如今是一家Spa酒店 酒店坐擁很大一片地，門前牛羊成羣，另一麪餐廳有很不錯的湖景和一大片草地，野兔和松鼠時常在草地和林間跳躍。經過一條小路可以到達湖邊，也可以在森林裏徒步。 從電梯可以感受到，酒店很有年代感 spa有恆溫泳池，冷水池，熱水池，還有一個戶外的熱水池，麪對一大片草地和樹林，真的很愜意。 唯一要注意的是：11點退房，一定要在退房前去spa，11點后要加收每人20磅。」

「Greeted with a lukewarm warm reception upon arrival. No assistance offered to take the luggage to the room which was up three flights of stairs that got narrower towards the top. The breakfast server huffed and was visibly annoyed and upset when I dared to ask for a second coffee! I suggest that they invest in a coffee machine instead of serving single cup sized cafetières. The family room was a good size but had fairly low ceiling beams which were pointed out by 15 signs which made the room look more like a building site than a bedroom. No refrigerator in the room and the safe did not work. The location is around 6 miles from Keswick. Nice swimming pool but access via the door to the changing rooms does not work all of the time.」
