I have to say I may not have given a poor review-despite the issues-if I didn’t feel like I was blown off at check out.
When we first entered our room I went to close the door and noticed many ants on the inside. There was a piece of food not swept up and they were all over. Ok- I cleaned it up. Then I noticed the kitchen floor not really clean, and the shower floor was not clean. There was urine on the bottom of the toilet not wiped up as well.
I still did not complain to anyone.
In the morning, I went to throw away a napkin on the desk, and the napkin and desk was covered in ants! My daughter was sleeping right next to this desk! I know it’s just ants, but come on.
I don’t like to complain, and did not want to have a confrontation because I understand everybody has a job to do. But when I checked out, I mentioned my concerns, and I was told sorry I know this is what happens with outdoor rooms. ?!
Then was told oh you pre-paid I have no receipt have a good day and nothing else.
She was friendly enough, but did not seem to take my concern seriously.
My daughter and husband were still in the room, and in seconds after I checked out, somebody came right into the room to clean. I have never seen that before! I assume it was because they were told there were ants, so they had them go right in, but they felt very rushed. The cleaners actually waited outside the door, and when my husband opened it they said, are you done now? Please contact me to discuss further
