Did they just buy an old hotel and put the Doubletree name on it and give out cookies? I'm sorry but that doesn't make it a real Doubletree. The interior public areas are in terrible condition (take a look at the elevator floor, for example). Inside the room, lots of nicks and scratches and the shower handle had detached from the shower wall. Cleaning is poor and slow; the carpets were dirty. Someone had dropped popcorn in the elevator when we went in at 8pm and the next morning when we left it was still there - only also stomped on tracked down the corridor. Most of the staff were friendly but the lady at checkout didn't even make eye contact when asking how my stay was and saying goodbye. These things matter. I should have saved $30 and stayed at a Choice hotel, it would have possibly been newer, had friendlier service and would definitely have had free breakfast and a microwave in the room! Overall, very disappointing. Oh well, at least the cookie was still good.

Would not recommend. Sink had dirt covering the bottom….at first we thought it was part of the design and then we touched it and it all wiped off and we realized it was dirt. Called front desk to come clean and she said they would … never cleaned it. Carpet in room was dirty. Whole vibe was just icky. It did not feel clean at all and I would never stay here again.

Room wasn't ready at 5:00 and told it would be another hour. Clerk acted like she could care less we had a wait. Soap still in the shower from prior stay. A/C didn't work and made noises all night long-NO SLEEP

We will definitely stay here again! Everything and everyone was wonderful! No complaints at all!

Quick check in with a delicious cookie. Perfect mid way point for a quick sleepover from long NE to SE drive.

The pool was ice water cold. No towels at the pool. The phone did not work in the room. The bottled water was $6 each. No breakfast options at all.

The staff at check seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. Our room was clean but all public areas were dirty. Had breakfast which was typical bad buffet food and the room was dirty from the night before. Crushed food on the floors all over the hotel. Gross. Would not stay here again. I will say the bartender and the breakfast staff were kind.

I would say its middle of the road. The room coild have been cleaner. There was mildew in the shower and the carpet looked dirty. The bed was comfortable though so that helped. The pool looked dirty and felt smaller than the pictues. Did not eat in the resteraunt but did have a drink there and it was good. Overall ok for a weekend stay but probably not much longer

Hotel is really beautiful especially the indoor pool area and lounge. But bathroom is just rather small compared to other hotels. Shower pressure wasn't strong and water didn't drain properly in the shower on our 3rd day. Also, breakfast for $15 was definitely not worth it. It should've been included in the hotel rate. After trying it one morning, I would rather go out and buy breakfast.
