The hotel is nice , but definitely not luxury and definitely not worth the money . Hence the 2 stars. At a fraction of the price it would be 4/5 stars . The rooms and hotel are nice , the service is ok but not 5 stars . The restaurant is so average and overpriced. We were the only ones in there which didn’t help . Some things that we would expect with a five star luxury hotel that they claim to be Firstly if there for 50th birthday, make a fuss and maybe a small cake etc as promised. My husband called and emailed several times and they were unaware of this on check in . With breakfast they charged extra for mushrooms ! I have stayed in many many nice hotels and never bern charged extra at breakfast. I was charged for my mushrooms as i had avocado n eggs on toast and my daughter wasn’t as she only had eggs and toast. They add on service on everything including the room , breakfast which is included etc

The property is just as described, just gorgeous and feels like you are royalty. The grounds are lovely contry like setting. Food was all exceptional (swordfish, club sandwich, caesar salad etc). Service was very attentive and friendly all over the property. Just loved this place for a 2 night stay before flying back to TX!

We had a great stay. Staff was great, room was clean and nice and the food and drinks were great; there was just one thing that really bothered me... Behind the outdoor pool is a small pen with two pygmy goats. Feeding, grooming and keeping the pen clean were all A+, but as a person who has had pygmy goats, it was clear that both were depressed since they do not get out of the pen to run free and play (there are dogs everywhere here). I've never seen two young goats so docile. Of course they perk up if someone has food but I visited them multiple times...they did not know how to play like regular goats and their demeanor was strange as though hey were sedated. Goats are very playful and lively creatures, love humans and are sweet natured. To be hidden behind the pool and the 10' hedgerow is cruel enough, but these creatures deserve better than a lovely little prison pen. Filling their mental health needs is a must as well. Additionally, there was one peacock left out of 8 (I was told by multiple staff members) because the foxes had killed the rest. If I had known animals were being used as entertainment I would have not booked here. I do not believe people are booking this beautiful hotel because there are two pygmy goats behind the pool. Langley Management: please find other ways to entertain children at the hotel and find those goats a good home where they can run and all-around healthy.

What a lovely hotel! It was so wonderful to find this spot in the middle of the country array of London. The spa was exceptional and the staff was terrific. Go stay without hesitation, especially if you are Bonvoy members. Thank you to the bartenders especially who made the experience excellent.

This is an absolutely beautiful spot - scenic, bucolic, peaceful, quiet and just gorgeous. The building is incredible as are the grounds. Picture-perfect! The food was overall good and I wish we had known earlier that in addition to the quite fancy restaurant, there is a bar with more casual food and atmosphere. In nice weather we were able to sit outside for all our meals. The pool was heated to the perfect high 80s temperature and we had a great morning swimming. In addition, the pool design is beautiful surrounded by limelight hydrangeas, boxwood and overhanging trees. It’s near a pond and next to the pool are a tennis court and small playground for kids. I’d like to highlight Ali, who was absolutely wonderful. He came to my room one day, talked me all through the town of Windsor, and gave me great tips to ensure our family would fully enjoy our day. On the morning of our departure, he helped us with all our bags and asked how our day in Windsor was. He was 5-star wonderful, kind and a real go-getter! Overall the front desk service was very friendly and kind. Some of the servers at the restaurants were also friendly and kind while at other times the staff seemed stressed. I can’t quite explain it, but that words that come to mind when describing the atmosphere among those providing service at this hotel are a mix of friendly and warm and stressed. I get the sense things aren’t so beautiful behind-the-scenes. The reason for the star deduction is what I would call predatory or at the very least confusing and deceptive pricing practices. We had to spend more than an hour the evening before and morning of our departure setting our bill straight. We were over-charged for our breakfast one morning, then on the bill we were over-charged for all our breakfasts, both rooms, and had “discretionary service charges” added to our bill for both food and dining that had never previously been disclosed to us. Between them all, we were charged the equivalent of close to $400 in incorrect breakfast charges and discretionary fees. Most people wouldn’t scan the bill as closely as we did or educate themselves on their rights, but we did (and always do). Having to essentially convince the hotel to charge us what we were promised upon check-out left a sour taste in our mouths. We had to fight for our included breakfasts that are part of our Marriott Bonvoy status and also for our room charges to match what we were promised upon booking and had to ask to have all the discretionary service fees removed. We selected this place because we are Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite members, and it was our daughter’s special birthday stay. And while we were given a nice room upgrade and a birthday balloon and treats in the room for her birthday, overall I would not recommend this hotel to others who are booking it because it’s a Marriott, meaning if you are booking this place because of the Marriott amenities and usual treatment of those with Elite status, you may be disappointed

I stay at a lot of luxury hotels, and every time I do I am in search of the "flawless" experience where a hotel and its staff get everything right, from big to small, from to start to finish. Much to my surprise, The Langley did exactly this, delivering one of the finest stays we've had all year. We decided to stay at The Langley to complement a dinner at The Fat Duck in Bray. The Langley is a beautifully designed hotel located in a really charming country park. Going for walks around the park is well worth it, you can walk for an hour or more around the lake and farmland and visit the café beyond the King's Wood. The Langley itself has been designed to an exacting standard - its common spaces are beautiful, its rooms and suites have that inexplicable extra measure of luxury you just hope to expect in a hotel like this, and its grounds are sublime. The staff are switched on and keen to make sure you're enjoying your time there. The spa is really special and spacious, and shouldn't be missed. We will absolutely be back for more weekends here.

Watch out for the dreadful rooms on the top floor that they market as suites. Low ceilings, very poky, terrible layout with most of the space unusable. Elevator appears to be circa 1980 which doesn't improve the experience. We stayed here before in one of the annex rooms and those were lovely- light and modern. This time we thought we would upgrade to the main house but that appears to be a mistake.

The Langley is located in a beautiful park area just 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. When you arrive you drive down a beautiful tree lined road to the manor house built over 200 years ago. The property was recently refurbished and is beautiful. We arrived on a Monday and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. I would suggest that you “upgrade” to a suite if you are looking for room to relax as the smaller rooms are a little “tight”. We found the service to be top notch! We enjoyed dinner at the Cedar and the Churchill Bar - both were excellent. The spa exceeded our expectations. They have a fabulous gym, both indoor and outdoor pools (both heated) and they were lovely. I would highly recommend this as a more “rural” London option. Also, it is very close to Windsor Castle.

This is a beautiful property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is very conveniently located when flying out of Heathrow. If you book a suite, I would recommend requesting not to be in the Lady Abigail Suite. It has very low ceilings, which would be problematic for a long stay or anyone over 6'.
