Housekeeping needs major overhaul. Property has potential, but even though the rooms are new, the upkeep has been terrible. Everything is dusty and not cleaned well. It’s obvious housekeeping barely spends 15 minutes on a room between guests. Found our pillows with clean pillowcases over the old, dirty ones instead of having them changed, found Q-tip in the corner of the bathroom that was missed and hair in the shower, dust on the shelves.

Good area off the main road with shops and restaurants. No street parking, but there is valet for $51. Easy check-in. Nice staff. Rooms are clean but I had a jr studio and was facing a building, so it was a little dark and dismal when I arrived at 5pm. Great shower! OK bed - didn't feel like a luxury hotel bed. Quiet hotel.

Good quality rooms and beds, attentive and friendly service. Rooftop pool and area was not large enough for the property and so was packed on a sunny day. Window in our room was broken/glass misted. Our room category was “City View” but the room looked at the wall of the building next door.

I will return soon with friends! Check-in was smooth, the property allowed ******* Silver members early Check-in. I found street parking almost instantly. The room was a decent size (no view, as this is a residential area) The food was very clean (quality ingredients were used) I had lunch by the pool on my first day, the chicken sandwich was divine (we also did breakfast and that was also delicious). The pool is small and not much seating, but I didn’t mind it. Great location!

Loved this hotel and was very happy and planning on coming back until I saw my incidentals charges. I travel a ton for business and I'm in DC at least 4 weeks a year and maybe more, every 3 months. Anyway, I'm well traveled and know costs of parking in cities as opposed to smaller towns, "resort" fees, etc. I was really put off by the 60 a night for parking and the crazy "resort fee". I had coffee every morning and charged it to the room and one nice dinner at your restaurant and my bill after room was over 700. This seemed excessive and I inquired and was politely informed about the fees. I told her, as I'm telling all now, I will not stay there again. I loved everything about this hotel but this. The staff is wonderful (I tip VERY well) and I appreciate good service. I don't expect it, but when I feel it's truly exceptional I show my gratitude. Might I suggest adding your resort fee to the price of the room? This way your customer doesn't feel coned when they go to check out. Resort Fees are truly a silly allocation when you should just charge more for the room. Showing confidence in your price supports your commitment to the service you offer and the quality of the experience. Anyway, that put me off and due to budgeting my expenses, I was not prepared for such a gouge.

Nice boutique hotel in an okay location. About 5-10 minutes from most places. Staff was fairly friendly but not overly welcoming. The only issue I had with the hotel was that I messaged them upon booking about wanting rooms in close proximity but did not get a response so I called 2 days prior to stay and spoke with reception who indicated she’d input it however at check in they were unaware and was giving us rooms on separate floors. Upon letting them know they were quick to accommodate and placed us on same floor but we were very far apart, which was okay. They did offer the $25 room credit for ******* VIP but there was no mention of a possible room upgrade so my guess is that they were fully booked. I did receive an email prior to arrival for just one of my rooms asking if I’d like to request a room upgrade, to which I responded yes. I was not told at check in whether either room were upgraded and I did not ask as I was just happy they accommodated us on the same floor but at checkout they charged an upgrade fee on that one room. I queried it as my daughters could not ever put the blinds up as it was facing a neighboring building’s roof that had workers on it quite often so it was not a safe view at all for them, plus there was a weird green haze on the window so it was not a pleasant look. I voiced to them that I did not consider that view or room an upgrade and the manager was very quick to remove it and was polite so that was appreciated.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Viceroy, DC. We loved our room. The hotels amenities and customer service, excellent. Very convenient location, literally in the heart of everything! We hope to have plenty more enjoyable experiences here in the near future.

Perfectly located in Logan Circle. Not far from the Convention Center, and downtown DC. Good food options at the hotel and nearby restaurants. 15-20 minute walk from U Street. Rooftop pool/bar. Friendly staff.

The shut down for the parade should have been announced BEFORE check in. The Viceroy or their sister hotel should have transferred my luggage to the Viceroy instead of me schlupping my luggage in heels & a dress through the streets of DC. I was the only one checking in at 7pm and was rushed through the process, he said I was on 2nd floor, we were on the 4th. He didn't explain the hotel credit. But things took a nose dive at dinner at Dove Tail. The service was horrific from the host to the server. It took over 90 min to get an overcooked burger, chicken sandwhch missing ingrediants, cold fries and no side of requested mayonaise. Our food was given to the table behind us and they completely finished eating before we got our foo. We were done with our sandwiches before we got hot fries. There were 5 tables in the entire restaurant this is just not acceptable. The server was trying to ignore us so we ran out of drinks & water. The meal ruined our evening plans because of how long it took. I wish we had just gone to Shake Shack across the street.
