The hotel is located in nice surroundings ,around many high-end stores, Tiffany, 5th Avenue..... the hotel is very clean and beautiful , the staffs are friendly. A++ hotel, highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but our stay was not good. First, the parking was listed at $24 per night on our reservation but we were charged $30 when we checked in. We had reserved a room with a King bed and a pull-out sofa for our 7 yr old to sleep on. The pull-out was maybe the size of a twin bed, maybe smaller but with it extended, there was no room left to try to navigate the room. And the hotel doesn't carry bedding that actually fits the pull-out. We had to put queen sheets on the twin size bed. We were told the pull-out would be made up when we arrived and it was not. Our reservation was for 3 people but we only had 2 towels in the room with no bathmat. The bathroom was strangely laid out. There was a post/wall jutting out right as you walked into the bathroom. It was such an odd place to have it and it made getting in and out of the bathroom difficult. You had to fully open the door to get in or out and the door swung so close to the wall jutting out that it was very easy to pinch your fingers between the wall and the door. We were booked for 2 nights and on the first morning, our keys stopped working. Another inconvenience.

We stay here frequently and it’s serviceable enough but prone to odd problems. Loud groups on the floors and in the lobby, strange delays checking in at the desk, and this time - an inability to activate a digital room key — or to access the hotel from the parking area using the physical room key via the back door (which was locked before the posted time). Nonetheless, it’s fine.

Marriott Bonvoy must be a low level franchise of Marriott. The decor, location ..real nice, but the quality of the mattress in Room 720 was not Marriott standard. I reserved the room for 2 nights but the bed was so uncomfortable (felt like I slept on the floor), I cancelled, my back could not take another night. I was in town for the Citi Tennis Open, so changes hotels was not in my plan. I'm fit, so when my back was stiff the next morning, I took a closer look at the mattress. I have never stayed in a hotel with such low standard of bedding (see pictures). The website's pictures are deceiving, leading you to believe there are 12-18 inch mattresses. After I advised the desk clerk of the mattress situation, I was not offered a change of room. Worst lodging experience ever. The decor may be 3 star but the bedding was 1 star.

Everything started when I arrived in Wednesday I called early and ask if I could check in early they said yes around 1 so I waited in airport until one they and went to hotel and I got there they told me I couldn’t not check in the two gentleman that were there in front desk they don’t know what they were doing. Then on on Wednesday night I couldn’t sleep there was a loud noise and then my restroom sink was not draining the water out it would stay there . I told them in morning that was Thursday morning I told them about the loud noise and the problem with sink so came back to to hotel and I couldn’t sleep that night either it was triable it was a very bad experience I traveled a lot this been the worst ever this was the first time I ever been to Maryland it was a bad experience in hotel. And when I checked out I told the gentleman in front desk am sorry to say this but they were the same gentleman didn’t know what they were doing I couldn’t understand what they were telling me. It was worse stayed I ever had am sorry if I ever go to Maryland and I know I will go back because my daughter is going to college at Maryland but I will never stay there again it was a bad experience for me.
