底特律沃倫萬豪TownePlace飯店(TownePlace Suites Detroit Warren)

This hotel is not at the quality level I expected at a Marriot Town Place. I have stayed at several including this one at it’s old location. Marriot took over this property and hasn’t made the necessary improvements. Not only is the property dated it is poorly maintained and cleaned. It is not worth the price as shown in the photos, this should be a $89 a night hotel. Paying a much higher price I would not expect; - Dirty floors as my socks show - Only 2 forks and knifes - Dirty air vent - A cracked lamp shade - Cracks in the walls in the room that could be easily fix in a few minutes by a repairman and some caulk - The door to the bathroom hard to close due to loose rubber on the floor - Part of the siding hang off the side of the building for at least 3 days - The same breakfast of egg muffins and bagels for two days, this not what I expect a “hot” breakfast to consist of. Where is the bacon, sausage and potatoes?? The problems listed indicate management at the hotel has not properly trained the staff to report problems in the rooms. The person cleaning the room has to see the problems but has no incentive to report them to get them fixed. I would seem management doesn’t inspect the rooms. We will not stay at this hotel again.

Spotted this choice of hotel for Taylor Swift show in Detroit, june 2023. Didn’t regret my decision at all, it was perfection! Newly built hotel, perfect for the family, near shopping and restaurants.Safe area, free parking, great breakfast included, super comfy beds! AAA++++ all the way!

The desk clerk was rude and more focused on whatever social media site she was on than doing her job. So much so that she charged my card over $400 for a reservation that was booked and paid on ********** prior to my arrival. This hotel should be condemned. Our door didn't lock securely, the room was horrible. There was blood on the mattress and sheets, the room was horribly dirty, the bathtub/shower looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years until they got our reservation. After reaching out to ********** to complain and request that we be relocated the desk staff had the nerve to get an attitude.

Our room had a leak. We were then moved to a studio room which is not what we asked for. Our room was switched the next day. The tub was black , there were cracks. This hotel has gotten worser than what it was.

The only issues I had was the room was a little dated and the pool was down. The staff was wonderful. And the room was very clean.

We were told to expect some noise from renovation. Ok sure. What we were not told: pool was closed (daughter disappointed, since this was a criteria for staying), no hot water for a full day, random ear piercing alarms going off, did not receive housekeeping as requested, did not receive pet free room as requested for allergic wife needs, power outlet randomly stopped working. Bummer, won’t stay again.

We rented the room based on the fact it said family friendly hotel. 1 hour after checking in we were told we have to keep our 2-year-old autistic son contained or we would have to leave. The room we rented was also very lightly cleaned the floors were disgusting and everything on child level you could tell is not wiped down. Also every time we entered and exited the hotel there was people smoking cigarettes right outside the door when we mentioned it to the employees several times they did absolutely nothing about it. The property was labeled as a smoke-free property and family-friendly we did not feel that at all.

Originally had an issue with the room but management worked closely and resolved the issue quickly!

Nice renovated room and clean. Great staff.
