希爾頓歡朋套房飯店-波基普西(Hampton Inn & Suites Poughkeepsie)

An adequate place to sleep when you are exploring the Poughkeepsie/Hyde Park area.

Our first room had a leaking ceiling , staff was awesome but they ended up having to move us too two seperate rooms ,which seperated my family, there was also a used q-tip in 1 of the new rooms

I did not like that the first room had no heater, they changed the room and it smelled like cigarettes. Then they gave me another room where the fire alarm went off at 1 AM, my wife and I could not sleep, they yet again changed the room, I still could not sleep, the front desk reception is not friendly.

Bon rapport qualité/prix Le seul inconvénient est la piscine qui est utilisée par les cours de natation régulièrement. En soi ce n’est pas un problème, mais étant donné que la piscine n’est pas très grande, cela ne laisse pas vraiment de place pour les autres pour se baigner

I arrive at the hotel with my family at 9:30pm, mind you check in was anytime after 3pm, so I assumed no problem. There are 3 people working the counter, they let me stand there for 8 minutes before any of them engaged me. I give them my ID as requested, only to be told my room isn't ready, to give them 10 minutes. 20 minutes later i am told there are no rooms available! I had 3 children with me! What is the point of a reservation if I am not going to have a room! The reason was that gold members take priority and they gave my room to another family. They then booked us at another location a mile away. All in all, it was not a great experience!

The carpet had a 4 foot wet spot around the AC. Room smells musty. Had a reservation for 4 people. Only had towels for two. Needed a iron to iron my clothes for a wedding. No iron in the room and when I called for one I was told they didn’t have any. Went down for the free breakfast at 9 am and they were out of hot food. They had oatmeal and coffee. I stay at Hilton properties quite often and most of the time they are nice but this one shared a parking lot with a sketchy red roof inn. I just didn’t feel comfortable parking late at night.

The pool is broken and closed since the day before and nonone emailed/ called with this information ahead of time!

Hotels.com/******* really messed up this reservation by not actually booking it with the hotel. After almost an hour on the phone and being hung up on by the first person, it was finally resolved. I requested an extra night in my rewards for the problems this caused as I had to get to a wake and was denied. The hotel receptionist was fantastic. She got on the phone with ******* and helped to fix the situation. I do think I got the last room available - it didn’t look like it was used much and was pretty run down but it served it’s purpose.

Nice updated rooms , clean. Check-in staff needs to brush up in their customer service/social skills. “You didn’t pay us you paid *******” seemed like we were inconveniencing them.
