The Alamite, Tuscaloosa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We've stayed here a couple times and both times have been great except the restaurant and bar. Rooms are comfy and nice. Gym is decent. Food isn't very good and the bar has booted us out each time we've been here for closing early due to a different excuse each time. When we've checked in we've been told the bar closes at 12 pm, however, that is not the case. Planning on trying the other hotels in the area next time unfortunately.

I didn’t like the lack of amenities. I hate that I didn’t check about them having no pool, no continental breakfast. Not all parking is free. Next time I will stay at embassy suites across the streets with better amenities

Everything was very excellent from checking in and out. The cleanliness was superb. I wii definitely make Alamite a priority to stay whenever I’m in Tuscaloosa.

Beautiful hotel with clean, spacious rooms. Staff was very friendly. Lots of dining and shopping within a block. Parking was easy and safe.

We absolutely love this hotel! I wish they would build another since they sell out so quickly.

We were greeted when we came in the property and front desk was very nice also.

From the moment that you step into The Alamite, all of your stressors slip away. The guest services are attentive and knowledgeable and the ambiance is second to none. My favorite part of staying at The Alamite is entering the lift. It is so uniquely decorated. The rooms are decorated in a really understated way, and whatever scent the hotel uses is delicious! I look forward to my next trip to Tuscaloosa.

I showed up for my reservation, which was prepaid, and upon check-in, I was advised that the hotel had overbooked and that they did not have a room available. Shame on them and shame on ******* as my wife and I were moved down the road to a roach hotel. I am livid!!!!! And want my money back in my account stat!

Wonderful stay at the Alamite! Friendly staff, great location, nice fitness center, clean, good breakfast!
