坦卡里汽車旅館(Tuncurry Motor Lodge)

We were greeted by a very pleasant manager and signed in. The room had been very recently renovated and was very very nice. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and a new bathroom. All very nice and would definitely stay again. Best value for money, quiet and a lovely night.

Rooms only turned over once a week, our room had urine stains beside the toilet. The beds in our rooms were sunken and way past their used by date, couldn’t sleep. Complained to management and they at least tried to accommodate us by changing rooms, new room was only slightly better. Advertising says refurbished rooms…. The only thing refurbished is the bathroom.

Our experience was less than satisfactory. The floors were sticky when walking around, the pillows were very high. I ended up rolling my jeans up to create a more comfortable "pillow" and there were no additional blankets which was a problem at 1am when i could not sleep because of the cold. I dont think I'm asking for much. These are basic comforts that one would expect in any motel

Outdoor areas great. Room appeared clean until went to use sofa bed rubbish directly under the cushions and on the floor under neath the sofa. Sofa bed or its mattress needs replacing could feel the coils in it, so much so the person sleeping on it had to sleep on it as a lounge in a curled up position. Bathroom door needs repair no handle on inside and runner broken meant that you couldn't close it all the way, not ideal when you have booked for 2 adults and 2 children not of the same gender. Loud water hammer when neighboring rooms use water not ideal when they choose to shower after 11pm at night. Close to main road and can hear traffic.

The place is generally okay, comfortable and reasonably clean. The pool is clean and the grounds are well maintained, BUT the hotel is VERY noisy, the traffic on the main road is non stop and the noice is permanent day and night. We stayed a week and the room was never cleaned, we ran out of toilet paper, tea, sugar and had to organise ourselves, we had to ask for new towels in our stay as no one changed them. There were a few issues in the bathroom and kitchen but overall it was a lovely place to stay for a week holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hi beautiful place , close to the beach and shops, woolworths, and has breakfast options in the mornings if you book before 6 pm. Laundry area and swimming pool, great shower pressure, and very comfy beds. Staff are also very hospitable!

Very dissapointing. Kitchen falling apart. Hair in the shower. Cups still dirty and so was the dish cloths. Not clean at all. The manager did come over straight away and fixed the issue. Couch was old and very uncomfortable . The bed was bad. We arrived 7pm and left by 6.30am the next morning. We booked 2 nights stayed for 1. Staff was good but the room was the worst ever.

Great stay, close to everything. Clean and tidy. Well kept property. People were helpful
