The breakfast options were really good, except for the scrambled eggs. The bread, cheeses and charcuterie were amazing. The scrambled eggs were mushy and couldn't really eat them. The Orange juice and coffee were great.
The beds and pillows were comfortable. I slept well, to be honest. But the towels were disgusting. The room smelled terrible, the towels were dirty and smelled really bad. One of them had something brown smothered on it. The curtains were held by duct tape, the carpets on the hallways were stained and looked dirty. The sofa on the room looked really old and after seeing the state of the towels, I can imagine it was super dirty. The TV was located on a stand super close to the floor and was blocked by the coffee table. Everything about this room was odd. The main issue was cleanliness and the smell. I had to open the windows, even though it was really cold outside. For this price, I should have gone to a different hotel chain. The "free shuttle" didn't work out. When I got to the pick up area, there were about 30 people who had been waiting for up to 2 hrs. So, I offered to share an uber with another guest. I had been calling the hotel for 45 min, prior to arrival and they never picked up the phone. I called the call center for Melia and they couldn't help. I talked with the shuttle driver for a different hotel and they warned me that the shuttle for this hotel had issues because it was super small and had to come back and forth leaving guests behind.
