米爾布魯克家庭旅館(The Millbrook B&B)

What a lovely b&b and even better hosts- Vanessa and Cameron were so friendly and accommodating it felt like we were visiting family, nothing was too much! The property is fresh, clean and spacious. We loved the little touches of the snacks left, the bottled water, to the milk in the fridge over UHT milk in packets….definitely a hit with us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had the best night sleep I’ve had for the last 17 weeks of being pregnant so I was very, VERY happy! I may have been planning on sneaking it out to bring back to Shrewsbury with us 😂 Breakfast was fantastic, my husband is very particular about his breakfast anywhere we go and both Vanessa and Cameron did not disappoint and were more than happy to see to our (mainly my husbands 😂) needs. The variety of continental was great and the fresh fruit was super tasty….the warm pain au chocolats were just the icing on the cake! I have told the whole family about it and can’t wait to return.

Everything was amazing. Thanks to Vanessa and Cameron. They were very welcoming and make us feel at home. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I must add this even corridors smell wonderfully. They helped us a lot for even after our staying time. We will absolutely come back and stay there. Thanks for everything 😍

I have just had the loveliest break in Torquay with friends and The Millbrook played a part in that. The Millbrook is beautifully decorated, light, airy and above all very clean. Vanessa and Cameron are splendid hosts and nothing was too much trouble. I slept well and breakfast was superb, with excellent quality ingredients. Little touches such as fresh milk in the mini fridge show the attention to detail, much better than uht packs. If you book directly with the B&B, you pay less than if you book via a search site, which is what I did. I recommend room 2 which has a lounge area and a terrace which we all enjoyed using. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Millbrook.

The room was nicely decorated and clean, the service friendly and the breakfast tasty! No trouble parking. It's a nice short stroll to the seafront. We had the suite and the chilled wine glasses in the mini fridge were a nice touch, as was the fresh milk and proper teabags in the room.

We stayed for a weekend at The Millbrook in Torquay and can honestly say we couldn't fault anything. Cameron and Vanessa were helpful in every way. Vanessa as front of house catered for anything that we asked for. Even giving the dogs a sausage for breakfast. We mentioned that we might like to bring back a takeaway, plates and cutlery were left out for us. The room was very clean with a decent sized T.V. We had access too the enclosed garden, which was great for the dogs. Breakfast was of a excellent standard, with plenty of variety. Definitely stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Millbrook. The room was comfortable and spotless. Free parking is an added bonus. The location is good too, a pleasant stroll to the seafront. Vanessa and Cameron are fantastic hosts, very welcoming and helpful. They also cook a great full English breakfast.

The B&B is very lovely, and not very far from the sea front; it's easily accessible with many restaurants nearby. The rooms themselves are very pleasant and spacious, with a nice bathroom and mini fridge. The couple who own the B&B are very polite and nice, even leaving bottles of water and snacks outside the room (very convenient). I would definitely recommend staying here as it is a really good B&B and close to a lot of nice places -- nothing bad to say!

Host’s Vanessa & Cameron. This is a Beautiful B&B. Both Vanessa & Cameron work hard at keeping this Beautiful place looking amazing. They are there for anything you require Lovely fresh breakfast every morning. This should be classed as a Hotel.

Cameron and Vanessa were great hosts and went out of their way to look after us. Coupled with a good sized clean room and nice touches like fresh milk in our room and an excellent breakfast at a time to suit us, we could not fault our stay. Also they have a great location with parking and a flat and short walk to the beach, in a town full of hills, was an added bonus
