Hotel was very nice. VERY small room, but everything we needed. This hotel is in the Red Light District however! We felt safe but it’s definitely not a family area. Other AOA hotels around, I probably would have chosen one outside this area next time.

Small , smelly , uncomfortable. $2,705 Australian dollars.for 7 nights , Can't believe they charge such prices for such an awful room. The rooms are so small it makes you feel sick. There is no where to put your luggage. Pillows and beds are made of brick. You will be up all night with bright lights coming through the windows and loud sounds from off the street , shouting, screaming, alarms. You will get no sleep. And holiday = ruined. The rooms are poorly ventilated, and you will feel like your sleeping on concrete on the street. Awful awful experience with a hefty price tag.

Great location to get around to other areas and walk around Shinjuku. Room is super small and a bit of a squeeze for two people, but very equip with things you might need and efficient. Mini fridge, toiletries, etc. Surprisingly quiet unless a guest is being loud in the hallway. Great for a night or two.

The location is great, but I felt that the area around it was a bit unsafe. The safety at night didn’t seem very good, and although I didn’t hear any noise from my room, it was still quite loud when I left the hotel. However, there are plenty of places to eat, and the hotel is in the heart of the city, so the location was great!

Located on the smaller streets of Shinjuku, this still is a very good location. About 10 min walk to JR shinjuku station and about 7 min walk to the metro line. The family mart and 7/11 near the hotel was a bit run down and have limited selections. Streets can be a bit dirty since a lot of people come around here to drink and eat on the streets. Keep in mind you are living in the red light district, but it’s still super safe. I think they need to fix the ramp located in the front entrance. It was a step to get to the ramp so it wasn’t as easy to roll my luggage up the ramp. The front desk was small so if they have a lot of people check in, then they need crowd control. They had a microwave at the lobby and I did end up using it, but it was a bit awkward since it’s right by the elevator and I have to deal with people walking by. They only had 1 elevator so expect delays. They only offered 2 free bottles of water when you check in. even though the tap water is labeled safe to drink, I still perfected the water bottles. The room overall was a pleasant one. Although it’s tiny, I think everything was well crafted to make it cozy and roomy. I was on the 14th floor and it was pretty quite. I’m like how they up lift the bed so you can put luggages under the bed to give you more space in the room. The room rate was decent and the bed was comfortable. I like how all the information you typically ask at the front desk is display on the tv. Also an ecofriendly hotel, I stayed here for 5 nights and they only changed my bedsheet once. They do leave new towels in your room every night though.

Amazing location, tight bathrooms. So affordable. Beds were comfy. There is so much 24 hours restos, convenience store, and even a 24 hours Don Quixote to make life easier for a tourist. Walkable to the Golden Gai and new Kabukicho Tower, and very walkable to several metro and train stops. Although I wished I had a walking map of where these stations are because often trying to find one, I ended up finding another. I would give it perfect except that I have stayed in another amazing hotel with same 11 square meter sized room but they had a full sized showers. Also I don't know why there is a step down from the bathroom to the room. I wasn't expecting this when I went into a dark room and shrieked as I hit the wall in front of me.
