Super Hôtel, bien situé si vous souhaitez faire un safari à Yala. Le propriétaire peut d’ailleurs l’organiser pour vous pour un prix correct et ses contacts sont excellents. Il est doté de chambres propres, bien équipées (télévision, réfrigérateur, eau chaude, sèche cheveux, climatisation et terrasse privative. La literie est bonne. Vous pouvez profiter d’une super piscine avec vue sur toutes sortes d’oiseaux. Le jardin est vaste et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est plus que copieux et excellent ! Les plats du restaurant également. Le propriétaire est présent pour répondre à tous vos besoins et son employé est toujours souriant et gentil !

Clean, spacious rooms, with fridge, fan and air conditioning, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, good flow and hot water, common pool with optimal water temperature, very attentive and pleasant staff, chanting of hundreds of birds.. all great, highly recommended

We recently had an exceptional two-night stay at Bird Song Leisure Resort, and it's undeniably one of our best experiences. Seeking relaxation after exams, the resort, now under new management, exceeded our expectations. Nestled in lush greenery, the morning sunrise view was breathtaking, creating a serene escape from our busy lives. The staff, friendly and welcoming, added to the positive atmosphere. Despite initial hesitations based on reviews, the decision to stay proved to be immensely rewarding. The resort's captivating vistas and warm staff make it an ideal spot for quality family time. The food was excellent, and the abundance of birdlife around the resort was a delightful surprise. A morning walk at 6:00 a.m. offers a mesmerizing experience with the harmonious sounds of chirping birds. While there may be some areas for tiny improvements, it doesn't diminish the fact that it was a nice stay. Having stayed in numerous hotels, Bird Song Leisure Resort stands out for its unparalleled sense of freedom and relaxation. This gem is a must-not-miss experience among our travels.

One of the nicest places we stayed in Sri Lanka! The setting of the resort is lovely and peaceful with excellent facilities and a really nice pool. The room was very spacious and comfortable with A/C and a very comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly helpful - for organising transport and tours and giving general advice. The highlight of our stay was the absolutely incredible meal prepared by the resort's chef - a huge feed of Sri Lankan Rice and curries. It was absolutely delicious and the nicest food we had while in Sri Lanka. Our only complaint was that we only stayed for one night and didn't book for longer! Overall could not recommend this place more, thank you to the wonderful staff!

To start with the staff were very helpful and assisted with booking taxis/Tuk Tuks also offered to help with any help we needed with a Safari. The first night of our stay in room 21 we had in excess of 50 plus mosquitoes and they were hesitant to change our room until I said we would leave. We were then given room 22 which had a few mosquitoes as expected and not a problem, the room was basic but clean with exception to the bathroom which wasn’t very clean by any standards. Our neighbours in Room 20 left the hotel on their first night also because of a mosquito problem. The pool did look fantastic but unfortunately was very dirty and the steps weren’t even visible when standing in front of them and I definitely wouldn’t have gotten in. I didn’t try the food and I’m glad after my next experience. Not sure how to write this part, Animal lovers I’d advice not reading this part and just avoid the place altogether! It made me leave the hotel that night! As I walked around the side of the hotel I was met by one of the staff looking suspicious and sheepish. When I seen what I assumed was what he was doing there was a small Green Turtle cut in half, still alive, with an axe type tool next to it, the poor thing in my opinion was in considerable pain and something I believed to be inhumane and from a small amount of reading ILLEGAL!!! And I’m sorry if that is incorrect it should be in my opinion and if it is legal then it certainly shouldn’t be carried out in this disgusting way in view of paying customers. It is a sight I will never forget yet I wish I’d never seen it, made me sick to my stomach… I wish my stay had been better 😢
