凱薩卡阿加飯店

Nos encantó el lugar y las personas a cargo del hotel. El hotel es pequeñito con pocas habitaciones, la habitación muy grande bien amueblada, con vistas sobre los campos de arroz y el atardecer, la piscina muy agradable. El personal amable y atento a todas nuestras necesidades. Se levantaron y nos prepararon un pícnic a las 5 de la mañana para poder llevarlo al Parque Nacional. Una experiencia muy bonita, un alojamiento encantador que sin duda recomendamos

We only had a one night stay as part of a driving tour but we were made to feel so welcome and they accommodated a late breakfast for us after a sunrise safari at Yala. The room was large and well fitted out with an open air shower. The pool was really nice with great views across the rice fields- wish we could have stayed longer

Een beetje afgelegen bevind zich een stijlvolle villa die uitkijkt op de rijstvelden. We werden super hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en kregen een kamer naast de living. Het avondmaal was zeer lekker en ruim voldoende. In de living kan je gezellig een boek lezen op een regenachtige dag.

Our first hotel on our tour in Sri Lanka was a real winner in terms of service and hospitality. The owner and the staff were very friendly and most helpful with every possible request. The room is spacious and features good working AC and a fan. The pool provides with a good opportunity to cool down in the sometime hot and damp Sri Lankan weather. Breakfast is simple with coffee, tea, water, eggs, sausage prepared as you desire, toast, jam, butter and fruit. On our request they also brought cheese to the table. They will go the extra mile for their guests. The bathroom is semi-open above the shower, which is a common feature in south-east asia. We prefer closed type bathrooms because of the exposure to the climate and occasional insects that find their way in. Wifi is available but very slow. it is adviseable to have a local sim which is very cheap (around 1600 LKR buys you a free eSim on which you enable a 15GB valid during 30 days package with Dialog operator)

Firstly I'd like to say that the room, hotel, grounds and surrounding area are lovely. The room is huge, nicely decorated and blooming lovely. The rest of the hotel has a very warm, welcoming and cosy feel to it. I wasn't able to try the hotels breakfast as I left early the next day for the safari that the hotel had organised for me. There's parking, aircon in the rooms. But it's safe to say that the pictures don't do the place justice. hmmm... the negative. There's a few little things that stopped the place being fantastic. When I turned up I was greeted by two of the hotels assistants. Suffice to say that their greeting was a bit frosty. The complete polar opposite as to what I'd experienced at the other hotels I'd stayed in around Sri Lanka. They looked at me as if I was going to rob the place. So, before going to my room I order from the menu what I'd like for dinner and then say three times and pointed to the menu, that I'd like a coffee. It never came. No biggy, but it's the little things. Next, prior to my stay, I got in contact with the hotel about a Safari. Twice the hotel confirmed the price. Low and behold, when I get to the hotel I'm told that the price i was told was in correct. Of course the price was more expensive. It's silly it's never cheaper is it haha. So again this leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, because it's not like the hotel doesn't sort these tours on a regular basis. Lastly, it would have been nice to swim in the pool if it wasn't turning green.
