基爾福德亞姆斯飯店(Kilford Arms)

Location very convenient: stone’s throw from the train station and right in the town centre near the castle and some really nice bars. Their bar also serves good food and is a decent spot for a late night drink. Be aware however, that the front door shuts at 10 and you can only gain access from the buzzer at the adjacent bar and they are quite strict on guest access. If you are a couple make sure to select for 2 when making the booking. Nevertheless the breakfast is extensive, and the rooms comfortable so thumbs up overall.

Kilford Arms is in a prime location in Kilkenny city. Train station is just a 5 minute walk. Great a**osphere in this hotel & staff are extremely friendly. Rooms are well maintained & they go above & beyond to make your stay very pleasant. See you all soon

Great all round spot. Food, drinks, a**osphere very nice. Rooms a little dated but spotless and comfortable.

Me ha gustado que estuviese relativamente cerca de la estacion de tren y de la parada de bus. El hotel y todos sus apartados son geniales, hay un pub que es tranquilo y ademas conserva arcos de alguna edificacion anterior, el camarero que me atendio super agradable. Es que no acabaria, donde se desayuna, el pub todo hace un conjunto muy curioso. El hotel, para ir a las habitaciones es en varios niveles, has de subir en ascensor, luego caminas un poco, derecha-izquierda-abajo, hasta que llegas a la habitacion, la mia en concreto era grande, pero no tenia vistas, la ventana que habia estaba alta, y a las 18.00 de la tarde o asi ya estaba muy oscuro, era una habitacion oscura, lo comente en recepcion y me dijeron que no se podia cambiar, es que cuando estas de vacaciones, al menos a mi me gusta mirar por la ventana y ver donde estas, el tiempo que hace, una lastima. La limpieza me parecio muy bien, y que tenia todo lo necesario, pero claro no era lo mismo, en algun momento parecia que no protegia muy bien los ruidos, sobre todo una noche que habia unos niños corriendo y gritanto, se oian mucho. Tambien creo, al menos es mi impresion, que podian ser un poquito mas agradables. Fue una buena estancia pero podia haber sido mejor.

Front staff lady was very cool. Property has been around for a few years but totally adequate. Price was also reasonable. Thank you.

We stayed for one night rooms were lovely and comfortable only thing we had some food in the lounge and wasn't a great service we waited to long food our food the salad sandwiche was not nice at all maybe a review of the menu needs looking at and then the breakfast wasn't to good some of the food was cold

The fire alarm went off twice during the night. Breakfast was not great and the layout was extremely confusion for the price the hotel charged.

Rooms were lovely and clean. Staff were excellent and was so handy walking distance to everything.

Wonderful and clean hotel with easy parking. The morning breakfast option was also very nice; however, there was a young man working there who was clearly sick and coughing and wiping his nose and then handling breakfast items without washing his hands. How do we seen that beforehand we probably would not have eaten there.
