拜倫斯賓塞飯店(The Spencer Hotel)

Had to swop the first room as incorrect didnt have a sofa, the 2nd room had smelly bed cover and the bathroom was a hospital grade handicapped bathroom. Very disappointing stay and would not go back. Toaster full of crumbs dirty windows and dirty tv remotes. Not a good "Hotel" at all

Hotel was worn, tired. No free parking on site - had to park 500metres away. Not cheap at $230. Spending tonight in another motel in Takapuna. Free parking on site, unit as new inside (far better than Spencer) and only $135!

The building itself looks quite nice but the room looks very old and the balcony was just out of my expectation. 2/5 start hotel if i have to be honest for others for young couples. staff were awesome

Convenient position close to eateries, shopping & an easy walk to the beach. Rooms were quiet although its time to upgrade their mattresses. Gym, pool & spa were excellent. Will definitely stay again.

This property was very poorly appointed, it was dull and lifeless existing on reputation not amenities, presentation or service. The room was minimally appointed, 1 chair for 2 people(?) 2 coffee pods only and the heated pool was being “ maintained “ so unavailable. Room service was also not available and at check in we were told a list of what wasn’t available, a very negative way to begin an overnight spontaneous break. I don’t recommend this hotel, I stayed quite a few years ago and it has deteriorated over time in condition, service and amenities

The place had no air con plus my family and i had a afternoon nap when we woke up i had been bitten over some of my arm legs and a lil on my back by bed bugs it was disgusting and we had quickly checked out that afternoon
