太浩金沙度假村(Tahoe Sands Resort)

This condo was not on the Lake Tahoe, rather across a busy street. The condo had two bedrooms and one was up a steep narrow stairway. Both bathrooms were on the first floor! Making it difficult for this 79 YO man especially in the middle of the night. Living room with TV had one very uncomfortable couch. How about another chair in the. And a chair in the upstairs bedroom would have been nice too. I will mot return again.

I would not recommend this place again. At first glance it seems clean. But there were spiderwebs all over the windows and the first night I got there the heater was up to 80, it wouldn’t shut off. there was no one available at the front desk on the weekend. Only. M-F 9-5. I had to call the after hours emergency service, they came to shut it off. It was so loud! I stayed in the room on the corner next to the street and the traffic sound was horrible. The first morning the alarm went off at 5 AM second morning there was jackhammering outside at 7 AM. Also, they started leaf blowing at 8 AM. It was so noisy. I went to the front desk and asked if they could give me a call when the manager returned. They never called. It’s a very noisy place and sort of run down. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The cabin was recently renovated and worked perfectly with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is so much to do around the lake and easy access from our cabin. This property has a beautiful beach right on the lake with chairs, bbq grills, pool and so much more. We had the best time and will definitely come back.

The property is on the water with access to a large swimming area without much boat traffic. Very large open green area. Overall very nice accommodation for the price. The only thing I didn’t like was the shower head wasn’t even five feet and I’m six three. I would def come back to it again.

Great place for a great deal. Affordable. Large rooms. Bed was comfortable and sheets were nice. Vintage style bathrooms & kitchen in the 1 bedroom but comfortable, everything worked great and very clean. There were two tvs! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook/bbq. Pool & hot tub were great (just wish they were open past 7:30pm). Staff was really nice. The private beach was the best part, it’s larger than most properties. Quiet area, out of the busy town but not too far. Would definitely stay here again!

I love how quiet and family friendly the resort was. Private beach huge grassy area with different sports set up. Clean bbq area. Beautiful clean room with kitchen. Loved it. Planning on coming back here every summer.

The property was a great location, very close to the Northstar Gondola. The staff is very responsive and available for help or questions. The hot tub and sauna are a very nice amenity after a ski day. Parking was really convenient and the grounds were plowed. They give you dish soap, a sponge, and a few dishwasher soap packets as well as some tea, coffee, and sugar which is a nice touch. We stayed in a room next to the stairs, so it was quite noisy in the mornings and afternoon. The gas fireplace not functional so we were quite cold. But the staff brought space heaters to accommodate. Having a kitchen was quite convenient, though I'd recommend bringing your own cutlery as the knives aren't sharp and serrated. I'd put cleanliness at about an 8 as the floors still had hair and crumbs from whomever had stayed prior, and we found several bugs in the room and one in the bed sheets. Overall, i'd stay it was a convenient stay. 7/10

A fantastic stay until I was woken at 4:30 a.m. by road construction equipment and a jackhammer.

Price was right - as it is less than 30 minutes from Palisades, and I expected to pay more given that everyone in Northern CA was coming to ski fresh deep powder at Palisades as they announced the opening of Silverado area for the firs time in 2022-2023.
