Our stay with kids was great. We would come back again for sure. Kids sledded and took a ski lesson. The only issue we had was that we had planned to stay in a room next to our friends and for some reason they moved us apart at the last minute and then we were in different buildings so the kids couldn’t hang out with each other when we were just relaxing in the room. That was a bummer. We had snacks and games and such to share with each other so that kind of ruined that plan. Other than that the stay was great.

We arrived in Lake Tahoe during the mosquito fire meaning incredibly smoky and hard to breathe but at least the sauna and pool were still open (they were excellent) but the massage prices were exorbitant. The room had no AC but a fan was provided which worked modestly at best (we couldn’t open the window because of the smoke). Service was pretty great at reception and in the restaurants aside from one interaction. Food was nice also but we didn’t try the breakfast buffet since it was $20 per person and seemed to offer a pretty standard selection.

Overall experience was good. The room is clean. But our request for cancelling or rescheduling the last day of stay was rejected without further follow up.

Lovely place to relax among in the snowy woods. Would certainly return.

The front staff was so nice and accommodating. Check in was a breeze.

We enjoyed our stay at Granlibakken. We are interested in hosting a reunion next year. We were given a tour and the staff was very helpful.

The studio rooms are excellent, there are a lot of services on site, I definitely recommend it! The downside is that there are problems with parking next to the room (there were a lot of parking spaces on the territory), the floors squeak a lot.

Beds were very uncomfortable, pull out couch was hard as a rock. They told us breakfast was complimentary and then charged 40$. Overall pretty clean but very uncomfortable.

This place need a major update, looks like it was built in the 80’s and has not had any improvements. Furniture is in distress, bathroom is antiquated exterior is in disrepair. We spent most of the night dodging the many moths that had taken over the room

Convenient location for Tahoe triathlon, enjoyed using the facilities (pool and tennis court, and hiking trails), but decor is a little dated, peeling paint in the bathroom, and very poor wifi for half the stay.

The staff is incredible and go above and beyond to help. There are so many amenities to enjoy. We’re anxious to come back and stay again.

No air conditioning, the place smelled super dirty old like smoke and cigarettes, very old out today, sink kept clogging repeatedly ask to unclog the sink and no changes were made. Would never ever use this place again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone, terrible experience.

The check in time is 4pm. We arrived at 3pm, there is nothing available at 3pm. We were told wait until 4pm. However, our room is not ready until 4:30. Also, there is no AC in the room.

The only thing we were disappointed about was the fact that we couldn’t get the fireplace to work.
