The pet area outside is ok The rooms are musty and in need of remodeling. Television does not work. Only a couple rooms have cable tv. Be sure to ask and check before staying in room. The pool area is ok. Check expiration dates on the food. We opened sour milk.

The room was so humid and musty my family could hardly sleep. Old & outdated furniture, carpet and bathrooms. The ceiling was dripping into large garbage cans outside my door in the hallway. Breakfast was a joke - stale bagels, bread and muffins. With fruit that looked like it had been sitting out for days.

1. The property is older. I understand that there have been multiple owners over the years. Lobby is nice...but too warm. AC ineffective here Breakfast is available from 6.00 to 10.00. They offer coffee, tea, waffles , corn flakes, pastry, juice, tea. There is some yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Get there early. If you come toward the end, there will be nothing left. Seems they do not restock. I would expect something hot for $176.00 a night. The room is kind of a suite. Front has table, coffee table, sofa and a chair. There is a refrigerator with no light, a 2 burner hot plate but nothing to cook with or eat with, no utensils or cups or plates. Individual coffee brewer with coffee and some tea. There are 2 bottles of water in the fridge, but it will cost you $2.00 extra. There are double doors separating the bath and bedroom, but if you close the doors, that front room will not have access to the AC. The bed is ok. My husband asked for extra pillows. The gal at the desk found 1. There should be a mat for the tub as it is slippery as one is showering. The wash line over the tub is barely functional. It roughly pulls out, but does not retrack. The closet consists of 4 hangers and a shelf. The water in the sink is VERY slow to drain. Soap?? What soap? When asked for soap, we were told that we could buy soap at the Dollar store across the street. Should that be?? We were told that they had trouble getting their order. A local gal told us that the owner is too cheap to buy soap. Sad!! Oh, by the way, there is a pool and hot tub. Could use more light in that area. Hot tub could have been hotter. Turned on the timer for 15 minutes but it wouldn't turn off. Had to get maintenance to turn it off. The back door to the pool seems to be open 24/7. How secure is this place? PS. No elevator, so if you have mobility issues, try to stay on the first floor. There is also a sign on the mirror warning that inventory is taken on the towels. If any are missing. you will be charged..So beware! Towels very wimpy. Bad shower towels! Pool towels were the same Bed comfortable..good location

Good location for our purposes. Nice selection of good restaurants nearby. Although we didn’t get the chance to use the pool, it was clean an inviting. Others were having a good time using it. Room was clean and accommodations comfortable. Only complaint is no elevator. Not a big deal, just a heads up.

Buyer beware. The pictures on their website are dated, this property is in need of much TLC from power washing cobwebs off the exterior, to new paint, some of the draperies you see from the outside look ratty & tattered. Property also needs real basic / regular cleaning in the interior (one example is that windows inside pool area were full of spiderwebs, dead bugs, etc.). We were in the area for my son's MTB race & he said to me as we pulled into the parking lot, dad, I think we should stay somewhere else (the first appearance is that dumpy & he used to be a scout, so he's stayed at some bad scout camps). Upon leaving, he said "dad, next year, we should just drive back & forth (100 miles each way) from home for the Saturday / Sunday MTB event." Our door didn't fit in its frame well, so every room within about 5 rooms on either side of us could hear when we closed / opened our door. The shower in the pool area only had ice cold water & that bathroom should be deep cleaned. The name of the place including "& Suites" led us to believe all rooms were "suites" (but our room was a normal hotel sized room). Hotel staff took their smoke breaks mere feet from the front door, so you had to walk through their cigarette smoke to enter / exit the main lobby. Hotel staff could have been more friendly (they weren't rude, they just didn't acknowledge your presence if you passed them in the hallway / lobby). They did not air condition the lobby / halls, which on a hot weekend got quite muggy. Rooms need more outlets &/or USB ports to charge phones, watches, etc. at night. (or bring a power ***** so you can expand the one open outlet there is by the night stand). On the positive, the beds were fine / comfortable. Room was clean & did have the tiny fridge & cable TV as advertised. Plenty of coffee & tea in your room to make. The free breakfast started at a good time (6 a.m.), whereas some places don't start until 7 a.m. on the weekends, causing you to miss when you have to be on the road early. (such as for a race)

We never went!! After a review of bed bugs we were uncomfortable in staying there knowing they can live up to 12 weeks. We tried to cancel our reservation upon this information a day before our stay, unfortunately, we booked through a third party. We needed them to email our third party with our request as of why to be able to get a full refund. Unfortunately, Shannon who answered the phone was not very professional or personally. She rambled on to something and would not let me verify what she had just said before hanging up on me. When I tried to call back to speak to a manager, she rambled that there was not one on duty and what she had told me previously applied (which I didn't understand and tried to verify before she hung up on me in the first place), dear Shannon had hung up on me for the second time before I was able to get anymore information as when said manager would be available. Hopefully said manager will be professional and understanding of said situation .

Room was alright, but the toilet wouldn't completely flush. After 1/2 hour or so it would go down but didn't flush it overnight for fear of the thing overflowing. We were here for an annual picnic at the Opr Eng Training Center, so lots of people that had rooms were attending the picnic. We were extremely unhappy to learn the next day that several people had bedbugs in their rooms and checked out, Sure wish we would have heard this before we spent the night, Now I am washing things and going over all belongings with a fine tooth comb.

Needs help everywhere. Mold and mildew in bathroom. Corners not clean, gross and disgusting. Sheets falling apart and patched. Carpet needs to be cleaned and smells removed. A/c was acceptable but stunk from old cigarettes and staleness.
