At first our stay was going ok but there was a lack of places to access by walking. We had to walk along a highway just to get food. The next afternoon the power went out and, we had no way of going to another hotel when the owner tried to tell us to leave. The owner didn’t even reimburse us for the almost $20 in food we lost due to the power being out nor did he comp an additional day stay for all the inconvenience the power being out caused. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel for anyone to stay even on a very tight budget. Also the desk drawer was filled with cigar tobacco and, some green powdery substance while the floor had debris along the edges.

Was in the area for a Memorial Service for a friend who passed away unexpectedly. The friends I was traveling with and I arrived late after fighting traffic north from Virginia on I-95. We should have taken a clue from the online reviews and 100% regretted it. Rooms were unsanitary at best. Bathroom was totally disgusting to the point we COULDN'T use the showers. Pillow cases had blood on them and request for clean ones were blown off. Breakfast area was a total disgrace as well. Silverware was not clean and the floor was so sticky that it was worse than honey. The breakfast food offerings were horrible as well Bagels and bread were stale and moldy and the hot foods offerings were nonexistent. And the COFFEE was cold as ice. Manager was not on site and the person in charge was clueless at best. Still waiting for a call back from the hotel manager and the Econo Lodge corporate office three weeks after the stay.

Do not go to this Red Roof. The couch was stained, the upholstered chair had a long wide rip in it, there was a bottle cap on the floor in between the beds, the lights above the bed didn’t work, the cold water faucet in the bathroom sink just dribbled out and there was black in the corner of the bathtub. The office was closed and there was a number too call posted to the door but no one answered.

Smelly, unfriendly, overpriced. Laundry and hair dryers advertised on website…but none available. Asking the desk about these things got the response, “We got rid of those when the refugees were here.” Of course the refugees are no longer here, nothing has been replaced, and they haven’t bothered to update the website. Avoid at all costs.

My dad and I drove 10 hours from Virginia to this hotel which we had a reserved room. Upon arrival the receptionist said the person who was staying in our room decided to stay an extra night. So they gave away our reservation to another customer! Terrible customer service!

Booked a smoking room and were told only non-smoking were available. Fine. We get to the room and it's disgusting. Dried blood smears all over the bathroom. Rug has huge burn holes I call the front desk from my cell because the room phone doesn't work. They say come to the front with your stuff and I'll give you a new room. This is at 1am. We pack everything up we just brought upstairs, load it in the car and drive to the office. He says I didn't see anything and makes me go show him the problem. He then has me go back to the front and gives me a key to the room next door. There are dead cockroaches in the fridge. Can't believe I wasted $150
