Lovely hotel and bar/ restaurant.
Room clean and comfortable, bathroom was very spacious. Lovely view of the river.
Food was delicious and bar prices very reasonable.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

No frills room, lamps out, rads need bleading
Good big bed, ample coffee, tea and biscuits. Plenty of towels, warm and comfortable.
Cosy bar area with open log fire, quiet time of year.
Breakfast, ample full english with bottomless toast, tea, coffee and cereal.

We love this place. It’s not posh and is more a country pub with rooms. There’s quite a bit that needs doing, but the new Manager, Paul, is trying hard to improve it.
The staff are THE nicest people and all very efficient, even though they have many ‘hats to wear’.

When we arrived there was a function on and no lunch service which we hadn’t been told about and also found out that there was no evening meal. They did give us sandwiches and chicken bits to keep us going. Then found out the kitchen wasn’t open on Mondays only for breakfast. Breakfast was very basic but nice. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.

This was a one night stay on my way to Horsey to see the seals. I brought my two Labrador pups along and we were made very welcome. This is a popular pub with a really friendly, welcoming vibe. Everyone was helpful and my room was overlooking the river. The locals in pub were friendly and chatty and I’d definitely come back again. It was really good value as well!
