羅耶爾飯店(Royal Hotel)

After years visiting with friends I won’t be returning after todays meal. The bistro opened 45 minutes after the opening time on the website, then it took another half hour to serve a rare steak, which came with about 10 chips and a salad made of a single cherry tomato chopped in half, a slice of cucumber, 3 cubes of feta and a iceberg lettuce leaf. I don’t know what changed over the last couple of weeks but everyone else that use to eat their must have also noticed the drop in quality because we were the only ones eating today.

Fabulous meals for our group. Huge servings and the meals were out so quickly considering the size of our group. Nice large airy dining room. Very enjoyable meals. 👍👍 . The hotel itself is fairly old but the dining room is very modern with a fabulous balcony out back

Not really good enough for today's travellers. 2 flights of stairs from the carpark. Room not airconditioned. No kettle, no toaster. Saggy old mattress that should have been thrown out years ago. All in all very average. Room was clean, staff very friendly.

Too busy in the kitchen to give o nod or to say “be with you in a minute”. When I asked if I should come back to order in a few; instead told me in a loud rude and aggressive tone … “we’re busy. Wait a minute ! “ Says it all…. NEVER EVER SETTING FOOT BACK TO THIS PLACE .

Would not recommend stayed in room 1 could not even seal windows closed.stained carpet dusty.Left after midnight and drove home.I would not recommend it was not refurbished as suggested in the web page

I just stayed for one night but I was really impressed with the Hotel and its facilities. The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable, the wifi is good and the location is convenient and close to public transport, train station and cafes. The bistro is nice and the food is really good too. All in all the Hotel is good value for money.

Great budget option for travelling into Sydney for the evening. 1hr 20min train trip to your door. Very basic but comfortable room. Lovely coffee shop for breakfast downstairs. Good parking.
