Homewood Suites by Hilton Reading

Booked through ******* non smoking smelled like cigarettes, asked to speak to manager was not available next day asked to speak to manager to reception and change of room. Receptionist changed room and said I was the only one that complained. I’m asmátic and so is my daughter. Manager did reach out apologized and offered 1night reimbursement and points. Always had good experiences with Homewood by Hilton but very disappointed and offended. Hope this serves for customer service to teach in bettering. Stay blessed!!!

The heater in my room was extremely loud. I couldn’t sleep it was so loud. The pillows were also too soft and there were no alternate options in the closet.

Great place -- very friendly staff, clean, comfortable room. A few glitches with towels, bathroom mirror, and the phone, but quickly resolved. Front desk clerk, Kiki, was great. Provided info re dinner choices, options etc. Room was very nice -- clean. Loved the bright lights in the bathroom around the sink/ mirror and the nice shower with HOT water. Easy walk next door to eat dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Very comfortable, professional and polite. WILL stay here again some day!

Clean, large room, and good price. Only drawbacks were no comfy chairs by the fireplace and low flow bathroom sink (but the shower and kitchen sinks were fine). Check in woman was most outgoing ever.

Excellent staff. Breakfast was delicious and their Wednesday night social was fabulous

Overall a nice experience. Hotel is finishing up a remodel so a few places are unfinished but our room was very good.

It was in the middle of construction. I’m surprised it’s allowed to let people stay there with exposed outlets and wiring everywhere. Bathroom was gross and not clean. There was a bad smell in the bedroom. Also breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen. For the price I was very disappointed.

Our overall stay was good and the main areas of the property are clean and in good condition. We got there before our room was done and they gave us one that was available. It had seen it’s better days. It was a suite. The rugs were worn/ripped and the the sofa has many visible stains in it. There was a lot of dust around the baseboard in the bathroom. They were doing renovations when we were there. They must not have done this room yet. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Knowing they’re renovating, we’ll try it one more time.

There were constant renovations going on so the common areas were a mess. It almost felt as if it may be a safety concern with some rooms being open that were being renovated and construction debris everywhere.
