Very disappointed, I always stay in Premier Inns, when I stay 1 or 2 nights, mostly from southampton. On arrival at 2.20pm, 40 minutes before check-in, the reception asked for £10.00 for early check-in, hardly early, so we had to wait even though room was ready!!. Then after this and waiting another 15 mins, we checked in, then put into a Double room, that smelt, as I travelled with my friend and requested a Twin room. Then had to wait another 39 mins to change rooms. So didn't get into the correct room until 4pm!!. This hotel is not up to standard. Beds were not as comfortable, not vacuumed in area leading to dining area which was not really part of Premier Inn private guests. Food not cooked to normal standard, dried out bacon, overcooked eggs, reheated hash browns, and baked beans. Not up to normal standards as normally great at other inns. Not seated on arrival, so if your not familiar with the inns can be bit confusing. Dirty dishes left, not cleaned tables. Extremely disappointed. Please don't be put off, as normally Extremely good at other Inns. This one I will not be returning to.
