Excellent service but most important by Elle who really took care of us in the restaurant, very engaging lady and kept the kids engaged, 5 star service by her. Our family room was perfect for the 4 of us with no complaints at all, staff were very helpful in directing us to local shops and the area of Southampton. Excellent

This hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We were greeted by Kristian who was so polite and accommodating. We stayed in a premier plus room that was absolutely spotless and wonderful views. Shopping centre across the road and a delicious breakfast in the morning. We couldn’t fault this hotel and will most definitely be returning sooner rather than later

Our visit started well, I paid to book in early and was greeted by a very pleasant and welcoming lady. My room had been newly refurbished and was very smart. However, I was woken up at 8am by workmen banging and using electric saws etc in the room next door. I appreciate work needs to be done but I think 8am was too early. (We were out quite late that night after a family funeral so set my alarm for 9am) On checking out I asked the man on reception and I said we should have been told about the work going on and why did they put me next door to a room that was being refurbished? He was quite rude , shrugged his shoulders and basically didn't care. He was also rude to another lady who had different issue.

Ideal location for pre cruise stays .Luggage can be stored securely,if you arrive before check in time.City is nearby which makes it an ideal location.Room was clean and has everything you need.I pre bought meal deal evening meal plus breakfast.Did need to book time to eat as hotel was busy .Wide rangeof dishes on the evening meal menus ,prawn cocktail had more prawns than the cruise will have said my neighbours. Breakfast was a wide range of food choices. Check out very simple. Highly recommended

One of the better Premier Inns without a doubt. The location is fantastic. Literally across the road from West Quay's shopping centre. Friendly staff, spotless rooms. Quiet, even though it's on a main road. I would definitely stay here again!

Away from home with my family , hotel located in good place with good selection of shops and restaurants around, close to ports . The staff was friendly and welcoming during our stay . We haven't eaten at the hotel as we booked the table somewhere else. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, and your staff are top-class.

We stayed overnight pre cruise with a meal deal. Just what you expect from a Premier Inn, basic and clean, there was still some building work going on, it didn't effect our stay and all the plastic covering had been removed from the hotel so all the rooms had natural day light. Dinner and Breakfast was okay nothing special and it could have been a bit hotter. It's a budget hotel and if you book a room well in advance you can get a good price, basically you get what you pay for.

The restaurant food and service was great, however the room was rather shabby with peeling paint, water damage under the bathroom sink and around the window. The window curtain was broken, not allowing the curtains to fully close. Because of this the rising sun shown into the room not allowing me to sleep past sunrise. On top of this there was no decaffeinated coffee, the only coffee we can drink! Finally, on check out I asked for a partial refund and was told I had to call the main office! I was told that the renovation would be done by February. I would not nor would I suggest anyone else stay there until the renovation was completed.

Excellent service Good food Elle in the restaurant went above and beyond with her helpfulness and care with her treatment of all she served very commendable we used this premier inn as very close to Southampton dock for our cruise at Christmas
