I stayed in the dormitory rooms here. Honestly, this was one of my favorite dorm-style rooms I stayed in, throughout all of Japan. The people here during my trip were very social, and it was fun to get to know people. Although parts of the house seemed a little old, none of it was too bothersome. My only real complaint is that I wish there were places to plug in chargers on each dorm bed. As for the rest of the establishment, it's a very cozy house with a fire in the fireplace every morning. Breakfast is included, and honestly was the most filled I felt during my entire trip to Japan, with eggs, toast, sausage, bacon, cereal, coffee, and orange juice. Getting to the house is easy, but be aware busses stop around 7 PM. I personally ran out of cash and was unable to eat dinner my first night because the only ATM was a 20 minute bus ride in the opposite direction. The bus stop is about a 10 minute walk up the hill next to the Nook (which is the cafeteria to get food at next to the Annupuri resort). The ski resort next to the lodge is really fun as well, there are several routes to take with some nice wide slopes for a beginner such as myself, all the way to more advanced routes for those who have been skiing or snowboarding for a while.
