The experience at this hotel was outstanding. It provided comprehensive amenities and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was delicious, the beds extremely comfortable, and the bathroom elegantly designed, making our stay highly satisfying. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as it offers a central location and parking directly outside. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and we lacked nothing during our stay.

Such a lovely stay at the No.4 Carlton Hotel, I can’t recommend it enough!! Friendly and attentive staff, especially Michelle, who checked us in and made sure we had everything we need throughout the stay. Each room has its own style and are all super clean and comfy, the Christmas decorations made it extra special at this time of year too - I’ll certainly be back!

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the decor, ambience and attention to detail are exemplary! My wife even went so far as to say it the best Hotel she has ever stayed in and I can definitely say the bed is the comfiest ever!! Simply outstanding and we will definitely be back!! This Hotel is truly stunning and luxurious. We had 5 memorable nights and were totally blown away by the attention to detail and opulence of our room and the entire Hotel. The staff were charming and extremely attentive and friendly and we received the best courteous service possible. The quality, luxury, peaceful surroundings within the Hotel are absolutely fabulous. We would like to say a big thank you and pay tribute to Michelle and her staff for welcoming us so warmly and making our stay truly magnificent.

Didn’t know that this gem of a boutique hotel was in Southampton and since moving away from Southampton this is my new go to. I couldn’t fault this hotel every detail had been catered for right down to black face clothes to remove your makeup. A complimentary mini bar and beautiful decor throughout. The continental breakfast is delivered to your room and is substantial with good quality ingredients This is a truly well thought out gem that has been beautifully and tastefully decorated. The only very small touch to make it even more perfect would be a small beer and IPA for those who don’t drink wine. This place is worth a visit 🤍

Lovely hotel and I really did feel looked after from the moment I walked in. I only stayed one night but really wished I'd booked two! The room was warm, snuggly, very modern with underfloor heating and THAT FRIDGE. Thank you!
