聖卡特莉娜巴拿馬飯店(Hotel Santa Catalina Panama)

Bellissimo resort proprio sulla spiaggia nella località di Santa Catalina. La stanza quadrupla spaziosa, letto king + letto a castello, con un bagno con doccia bella grande. Diversi spazi per riporre le proprie cose. Un'amaca per ogni stanza nel patio e sedia e tavolino comodi per appoggiare le cose del mare. Fantastica la piscina a sfioro con vista sull'oceano. Abbiamo cenato una sera al ristorante con meravigliosa vista e a parte l'attesa un pochino lunga abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene a prezzo ragionevole. Biciclette a disposizione degli ospiti per spostarsi, comunque la bellissima Playa Estero si raggiunge anche in 10' a piedi.

Carlos le receptionniste (qui travaille l'après-midi jusqu'au soir) se débrouille en français. Les chambres sont propres. Par contre, nous avons bien dormis car très bonne literie. Mais à chaque fois qu'une personne rentre ou part de sa chambre les portes font un bruit pas possible ! De plus, mauvaise isolation car on entend les personnes prendre leur douche. Petit déjeuner très moyen.

Tout d'abord et contrairement à certaines photos mensongères, cet hôtel ne donne pas sur la plage. Certes, le restaurant donne sur une piscine minuscule et sur la mer, qui n'est pas accessible à cause des rochers. Nous avons été accueilli par un homme qui nous a conduit , en nous laissant porter les valises, dans une "suite" donnant directement sur le parking ! quand je lui ai signalé que cela devait ètre une erreur, il nous a fait savoir que c'était la seule suite disponible, les autres , t autour de la piscine étant prise. La chambre était minuscule et nous avons du laisser les rideaux fermés suite au passage incessant des voitures et des gens. Heureusement le restaurant et son personnel étaient délicieux.

Nous avons passe 3 jours jours en famille. Hotel vraiment tres beau, avec belle piscine face a la mer. Personnel vraiment adorable et gentil. Nous avons fait une sortie snorkelling avec l''hotel qui fait cela en partenariat avec une des agences du village. Vraiment tres bien. Possibilite de prendre le petit dej en supp, ou juste un cafe ou un coktail. Je recommande car le sejour etait vraiment parfait

Hôtel agréable mais le service laisse à désirer. Un peu en dehors du village l’endroit est calme et permet de se rendre à pied en 15 mn vers le centre. Le restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur. Le service y est déplorable (erreur dans le commandes, oublis, facturation indue).

Fui con mi esposa una semana a surfear y yoga! La pasamos genial! Nos encanta este hotel. Ya habiamos ido antes hace unos años.

Un paraíso escondido. Es la perfecta descripción. Personal muy amigable y servicial las 24 horas. El joven del restaurante fue el top top top en servicio. Algo que demuestra el servicio es el trato a niños. Y todos se ganaron a mis hijos, preguntaban por ellos todos los días. Fue una muy linda experiencia. Me encanto. Definitivamente regresaré.

Attentive and accommodating staff. Very personable. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed as a family of 5, 3 teenage boys. I booked direct via email which was very easy. The hotel is a short way out of town by car and has a large plot with attractive looking rows of rooms (white with terracotta roofs). We had a huge open plan room with a single bed and a king sized double bed below and on the mezzanine level another single and a normal double. It’s all pine clad so you feel like you’re in a ski chalet. It’s a little dark even with all the lights on. However the fan and AC worked well, although the mezzanine was always a little bit warmer. It’s rather hard to cook in the small kitchen space but was fine to prepare breakfast. There was no salt pepper etc. It had a cleaning cream block but no washing up liquid. It did however have a huge fridge. I recommend you do a supermarket shop before you get to Santa Catalina, as the shops are small and expensive and bring condiments and coffee/tea/salt pepper etc. The gardens are well kept. At the end of the plot is a swing, the restaurant and bar and then beyond that the lovely pool. It’s all very nicely done. The beach beyond is not one you’d sit on as at high tide there is very little beach and at low tide it is covered in rocks and trees. Apparently you can surf directly off the beach but this is only recommended for very good surfers. The boys cycled down to the other local beach, the bikes aren’t exactly road worthy but did the job. My husband and I drove the boards down. The boards are free to use. They also have SUP and kayaks but due to the surf you are unlikely to use them on the beach in front of the hotel and would need to take them to one of the other beaches by car. The hotel restaurant does amazing cocktails (get the passion fruit margarita) and drinks aren’t too expensive. The food was a bit below par (see other review). I did a yoga class $18, which was fantastic. It’s on an outside yoga podium and they provide mats. They do yoga retreats here. They are also very helpful when you leave items in arranging for them to be sent on. We left my sons phone and they delivered it to our hotel in Panama city which was lifesaver. It’s a lovely hotel with lovely views.
