蘿拉旅館(Laura Skiathos)

Stay away, customer service zero, no communication until the last day before the booking, I booked the last room available(nonrefundable) without checking ferries availabilities for my suitable timings, canceled the room within 10 min of booking it, and started calling the property - no one to pick up the phone, no answer on emails, this was for a week myself and Bookings.com, I got an answer a day before my booking- that not been able to get to the island is my problem... no consideration at all and understanding regarding a refund. I do not recommend this place at all

We had a room facing the streets. First the positive things: It is really central and close to everything It's OK beds Big balcony Friendly staff Fridge Ac So the things that's not very good : It's insane noisy - of course some noise from the streets, but mostly from other guests (and a lot of them wants to party all night.. Tried to talk to them a numerous times..). You can hear everything going on in the hallway.. It's really worn down.. The kitchenette and bathroom has both seen better days.. But if you wear earplugs and don't mind that is really date it's OK, just not ekspect too much

Stayed at Laura many times. It is on Evangelistria Street, close to popular Papadiamantis Street where you will find shops, bars and places to eat. Big rooms in the back streets of Skiathos Town with fridge, cooking rings, air con and balcony. Rooms at the front face the road. You may hear some traffic noise and local dogs barking. To be expected in Town. Rooms at the back face a garden and are much quieter. Good housekeeping. Tired bathroom suite needs modernising but functions fine. Plenty of hot water. Air con for when it was needed. Housekeeping efficient. WiFi prone to drop out a few times but on the whole it behaved well.

the staff were blunt and not helpful at check in. upon first glance our room was basic and smelt a bit strange but it was okay. when we came back from dinner we were greeted by 4 cockroaches that had come out of the drain in the shower and that’s when we discovered where the smell was coming from. which had since become far stronger. upon further inspection we found blood stains on the pillow, the towels weren’t clean and the mattress was dirty. zero care was put into the room as well as the cabinets falling off of the wall and bugs living inside. we were extremely disappointed with our stay and tried to get hold of the reception to complain but no one was there and no answer so we had to leave half an hour after and pay for a different hotel. do not recommend whatsoever the only plus side was that the air con worked! every thing else was dismal.

Apt door would not lock properly, only one turn, not two. Wardrobe door hinge broken, would not open properly, and neither would the drawers underneath it. Bathroom cabinet aged and illumination was

Extremely difficult communication without a manager on site.

Great location. Close to the city center, but far away enough to be quiet. The room was clean. The AC worked well. The kitchenette was useful. The manager was helpful and cordial. A great place for the price.

Enkelt hotell.Store rom og romslige balkonger. Hadde balkong mot hage i første etasje. Noen katter på besøk daglig. Badet trenger oppgradering. Likeså kjøkken fasilitetene. Måtte kjøpe endel kjøkkenutstyr. Manglet vannkoker. Rengjøring hver dag.Godt med håndklær. Ung pike som snakket lite hadde ansvar for alt.Dette var vårt andre opphold der. Vi liker det enkelt. Balkongene er et pluss. Vi har bodd både på øverste og nederste etasje. Har vært 12 ganger på øya.Første gang 1981. Laura ligger sentralt i byen. Lett tilgjengelig.

Pessima , pessima esperienza ! La struttura è molto vecchia e in rovina . La pulizia è qualcosa di sconosciuto ai proprietari di Pension Laura ; pavimento appiccicoso e sporco , i “mobili” , letti , il frigo usurati, lerci e pieni di insetti ! Tenda della doccia inesistente , tubature intasate, peli e capelli ovunque … non ho osato controllare i letti . Puzza di fumo e odore non definito in tutte le stanze che avevamo prenotato … nonostante prima del nostro check-in avessimo provato a contattare i numeri presenti nella prenotazione per avvisarli del nostro arrivo senza alcuna risposta … ci siamo recati direttamente nella Pension , nessuno presente alla reception, dopo 10 minuti ci ha “accolto “ una ragazza che spiaccicava solo due parole in inglese “reservation? Passport “… la stessa che ci ha saputo solo dire “sorry, sorry !” quando abbiamo lasciato le camere non essendo stata in grado di aver trovato una soluzione . Dato il prezzo non pretendevamo una villa con piscina ma la pulizia è la base !
