貝維德雷飯店(Hotel Belvedere)

I visited the Hotel Belvedere on a school trip in Feb 23. The hotel is small and pretty basic with rooms that are suitable for two single beds or one double. A hotel catering for school trips should have more facilities to entertain students - a pool table of a ping pong table, a communal area for them to relax. Although the staff were helpful and kind, the catering and food options for the evening meal was substandard at best. There was a menu and table service each evening. Mediocre food was presented as being fine dining. It was far from this. The restaurant are better off cooking home cooked food in buffet style so guests could help themselves. For growing boys who have had a long day of skiing, the portions really were tiny. Evening meals would often consist of processed chicken nuggets and chips, processed chicken fillet pieces with chips. On a few occasions there was pasta which tasted marginally better. The hotel were given our dietary requirements in advance but the options for vegetarians were awful. They served cabbage rolls, something our students would not eat as a meal in itself. I had to request that they give all the vegetarian students fries instead. Occasionally the vegetarian option was plain spaghetti with a poor attempt to add a few flakes of dry herbs - it was bland and tasteless. On our last night there, the vegetarian option was an egg omelette, it was again a poor attempt to fob off vegetarians with little to no food. On one occasion, I was served pork which the waiter thought was the fish. Luckily, we realised the error before I consumed any. On another occasion, our Muslim boys asked if a pudding had any alcohol in it. They were assured it didn’t, but I later realised it did when I further queried the chef. By then it was too late for our boys who had already ate the pudding. As food goes, apart from breakfast, which you really can’t get wrong (boiled eggs, toast, cereals, croissants) the meal options were horrendous and the hotel really needs to consider a more improved menu for all dietary needs, bigger portions, offer accurate information on ingredients and move towards a more buffet style catering with proper home-cooked food rather than the pompous attempt at fine dining! There is nothing fine dining about this restaurant.

If boiled calf tongue, heart and other unmentionable offal (the waitress just laughed and said she wasn’t sure) is your idea of a good evening meal book here. If not stay well clear. Breakfast was little better - 6 cold boiled eggs and stale dessert from the night before is not enough for 40+ people. No initiative to replace items which necessitated persistent requests for more. Hot food items are placed on empty bain-marie trays which without hot water meant everything was cold in minutes. Various facilities were broken / unavailable - bath, sauna, evening shuttle, no tea coffee in the room or even in the dining area after dinner etc. Many guests including us gave up and ate out instead. Rooms were basic and small but acceptable for a 2/3star level. Location is a bit distant from town but walkable with care - the road is busy at night, poorly lit without a pavement.

Super nice locaction and atmospheric surroundings. Nice and thoughtful staff, shuttle bus to the slopes. Good and quick service at the bar and a delicious buffet! Fijne kamer met stevige bedden en lekker warm binnen. Perfect voor onze wintersportreis samen met collega's.

-No welcome brief -Room made up to double instead of 2 single beds as per booking -Food is awful! Tasteless and made us ill -Service staff are untrained and difficult to order additional food or drinks -Only 1 bar staff knows how to pour drinks

Nice hotel, welcoming staff, rich and excellent breakfast. The rooms are outdated and the mattresses are really bad. A nice little spa.

Good things about the hotel: 1. The location of the hotel along with the shuttle service is excellent. 2. The hotel staff, very kind and helpful, their goal is always to help and give service, which is great. Things need improvement on the hotel: 1. The hotel, a very implemented hotel, the toilets and taps in the bathroom are dismantled and not working properly. 2.The breakfast is very disappointing, and whoever wants to get eggs for breakfast has to pay more money in addition to what he paid.

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per tre giorni. Struttura molto bella, vicina alle piste e al centro di Sestriere, personale gentilissimo e disponibile, le camere oltre ad avere un bagno spazioso, hanno una vista mozzafiato. Sulla colazione e sulla cena si può ancora migliorare, ma tutto sommato la qualità buona. Inoltre il servizio della Spa con annesso idromassaggio rendono il soggiorno piacevolissimo.

Siamo stati a cena con amici e abbiamo speso 100 euro per persone, avendo consumato 2 antipasti(solo insalata visto che era finito tutto) 2 primi(2 zuppe di lenticchie) 1 secondo e 1 dolce e una bottiglia di vino. Per me un po' troppo caro per quello consumato

Ho soggiornato con amici presso questa struttura a Gennaio Camera con stupenda vista sulle montagne, comodo parcheggio di fronte all'ingresso Al ristorante, ogni sera un menù differente, nel quale è possibile scegliere tra 3 primi e 2 secondi, più buffet di antipasti e di dolci Personale molto cortese e disponibile, sempre sorridenti ed attenti Ci torneremo per un soggiorno di più giorni
